I started fasting on Mondays and Thursdays from October because I want Allah ﷻ to answer my du’a, but now I feel like now I am also doing it so that Allah ﷻ forgives my sins, I learn to self control, learn patience, maintain my salah, earn rewards and improve my character

Yeah. It's amazing how it works. Sometimes you might start something for a dunya based reason. Then as you continue with it, your intention starts to become nobler and sincere and totally different to why you started in the first place.

I wanted to fast on mondays and thursdays but I was worried about not being able to be consistent with them and then I realised these are the whispers of shaytan to keep me from doing good. @@mist0 Hi 👋 the benefits are that on these days u feel more connected to Allah aza wajal...because u know you really don't have to do this but u choose to do it purely for the sake of earning his pleasure. There is more khushu in your salahs, u consciously make the effort to refrain from idleness like watching TV or KZbin ect. It might seem hard at first but once u start u will see yourself looking forward to these days and they will occupy a special place in your heart inshaAllah ♥

Jazakallah for this. I have been fasting on Mondays and Thursdays since before Ramadan , I’ve missed a few weeks here and here. I’m trying really hard, it’s taught me self control, I feel at peace and my character is improving I’m not gossiping as much and really really trying to be a better person. Before it was hard now I see with this consistent fasting I can testify it’s true that your character starts improving more slowly but surely. @@mohamadfazli5575 watch the video. You start fasting from bad habits like gossiping and things that are bad for you, you become more self aware because you are fasting so you tend to stay away from bad things a lot more. Remember he said fasting is not just staying away from food and drink it’s staying away from sin too... that’s how. And it’s not easy I have to fight my nafs sometimes I win sometimes I lose but I find since I’m fasting I’m becoming more self aware and improving a lot more.

I started fasting sunat Monday and Thursday since October 2023.... i can feel a lot of differences especially with my digest system, i lost quite lot of weight and i am happy for that. i can maintain my weight too. i can easily control my appetite and i feel healthy. it seems like i have more tawakul to Allah too because , when it time to break fast, i eat whatever i have without demanding so much foods. to be honest, it is quite difficult to do this from the very begging, because it is not Ramadhan, plus, not everyone around you do fasting sunnat.. when they eat but you fasting . its quite challenging your iman too. Turn out, now i am "addicted" to this regularly fasting. Alhamdulillah. i hope i will keep up on this

@@madinasadaat5386because a certain sect of both our abrahamic religions have created language to deceive people. Christ is God just like Allah (arm leg leg arm head). As a follower of Christ I tend follow allot more Islam doctrines because they worship the true fallen God Satan or creator of this reality. I really want to fast but due to my insomnia and headache without having coffee could not work during the day. Yet feel guilty not to keep weekly fast.

Try taking non addictive sleep aid to sleep so you can find a routine. If you get good night sleep you might not need much coffee

I didn't understand how fasting for 3 days makes for an entire lifetime. Can anyone explain the multiplied by 10 concept? Jazak Allah
@CatsandAnimals213
@CatsandAnimals213 3 жыл бұрын
A good deed is written down after being multiplied by anywhere from 10 to 70 times. Means the least reward for one single good deed is 10. (Can be anywhere upto 70) So if u fast 3 times in a month, and if each fast is even written 10 times, these 3 fasts make u gain the sawaab for the whole month's fast. (3 fasts x 10 = 30 fasts) So if u keep on doing every month till ur death, then the reward will be of a lifetime.
