Always my friend!!! I had to wait till I got the new production run stuff. I felt like I didn't want to go on and showcase something that wouldn't be reflective of what they're actually making. I am actually hoping to do some battles for fun, but this thing is fairly unique. Really like the Tachi! And the handle paired beautifully!

This is a review I’ve been waiting eagerly for, thanks for doing it buddy. Razor looks amazing, especially for the price. Probably too aggressive for my preference, but pairing that handle with a polished Tile head, or maybe their slant head polished would make for a beautiful industrial style piece of kit. Great shave my man, the high standard we’ve all come to expect. Have a great one 🙏🤙🤜🤛

Dude the handle looks good with everything! Seriously I hated that little neck on the BB when you try using it on other razors. This was pretty darn nice - but definitely more efficient! 3 days down without a bit of effort 👍🤣

I have a Yaqi double comb DE head ("Mellon") that's pretty sweet. It looks like it's based on an old design from maybe the 1930's. I see they also now make a head that takes the Artist Club long injector blades, but do they make one that takes the standard injector blades?

Nothing in the injector blade category!! I asked a few years ago and was told they didn't think It had enough community interest to really chase - but who knows now. Thanks for watching!

@@SubieShaves I think you can still get a Chinese clone of the Schick injector razor, but the one I bought a few years ago (from Phoenix Shaving) didn't hold the blade securely, so I returned it. I'll just stick with my decades-old Schicks. (I even have a couple of really old Personna injector razors, and one is adjustable.) I do have a couple of Artist Club blades, so I'm tempted to buy one of the Yaqi single edge razors that use them. The standard injector blade is much more common than the longer Artist Club blade, so I don't see why they won't make a head to hold it. It will probably happen in the future.

Great! It does look like a good one and I can easily run a pad over it and knock down that polish to a satin finish. I wish that the could do something more like the Katana head style, but I'm sure it would be more expensive to make in stainless and they probably had a price point that they were trying to stick to. I'm sure some scents are seasonal, but I don't follow anything like that, I like to jump around.

I would bet anything that you'd need to do injection molding to really make it cost prohibitive if you wanted to match the Katana curve. Probably was the easiest way to CNC it honestly. I like it all the same tbh 😂 Thank you so much for the comment my guy, and yes, matting it up would be kinda cool too

The katana in my opinion has less blade feel but it's still pretty efficient. The new Tachi has significantly more blade feel in my experience. Thanks for the question!! 👍
