Those bullet pencils are really cool and that old Stanley block plane will clean up slick. Love pocket knives( I just found a Camillus from ww2 with wooden scales marked USCG ). The jaws on the wrenches look to be in great shape, not all chewed up.

Two of my grandkids know I like old hand tools. One gifted me an old Stanley 220 block plane in terrible shape. Worse than the one you have. I worked on it a couple days (off and on) restoring it and sharpening to razor sharpness to be in service again. I re-gifted it back to him at Christmas. His dad said he uses it a lot. I was gifted another that is probably a Chinese block plane, but it is in the works for restoration. Makes me proud. Looking forward to your restoration of the block plane.

There’s nothing borderline about your obsession with the screwdrivers Mr Magdad. Still it is interesting and as long as the wife isn’t complaining, you’re winning. 😊 A great variety of things purchased recently. The pocket knives are my favourite. I always carry one or two on me everyday. Grew up with that habit and even though it is against the law in Australia to carry knives, I won’t change. They’re too handy for odd jobs, opening things, etc. Take care buddy. Good video and enjoy your acquisitions.

The block plane, but I can remember my dad having one of the ratchet sets. He died in 1978, but I think I still have it somewhere in a box of his old tools.

A screw holding screwdriver? That's odd.😆Like those old knives. I've got two of those Camillus Electrician knives, really cool. Those old Avon aftershave bottles are cool but the smell doesn't seem to improve with age. Those are awesome wrenches too, nice score!

On the grease pencil, did you notice the phone numbers? First two letters of the local phone company are capitalized. EMpire 1-3000 LIberty 2-7290 Using a phone number pad, EM translates to 36, so the phone number would be 361-3000. The Boston number would be 542-7290. Back in the day of rotary phones if you were in the same exchange, you just needed to dial the last 4. If you were in the same local phone company, then the last 5. You only needed all 7 digits to dial if you were in a different phone company.
