MMMMM Bacon. Don't load them with tools, they will be too heavy. You load them with hiking, camping, and coffee gear. Plants and antlers... like a cow bell... can never have enough. The chair is cool and the blanket is perfect with it. Love the flipper. That blue duffel bag is handy. Nice scores and day out with the family!

I was expecting a stove like a 508 in that case . lol
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
Squats found that case in the free pile. That was empty. My guess is that earlier in the day. That stove was out somewhere. Somebody grabbed it

That was fun. How much was the wooden canoe?
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
There was drama with the Canoe. As soon as we showed up, we expressed interest. they said let's start at four hundred and we offered 300 , settled on 350 , went to pay and some other guy , apparently the owner says no 600 , we told them absolutely not .
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
This sale was in a community wide sale , the people kept offering 500 , we said absolutely not.
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
It was probably worth 500 on the absolute best day
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
Sad thing is, we would have used it. Someone's gonna cut that in half and make two bookends out of it
@Rottingboards4 ай бұрын
Not worth 500. You did good walking away.

Happy Father's Day, Steve!! Great scores, but REALLY great buy on the Eureka tent and Everest sleep pad! Had I been there it would have turned into an auction 😂 I saw you look at, but pass up a vintage Mirro Backpacker stainless cookset. I have several of the aluminum versions, and grab them every time I see them. That canoe was beautiful, and looked like an easy fix. Did he end up going back for it?
@doinsngoins4 ай бұрын
I know Chad that little cook set when I went back and watch the film I'm like, why in the heck did I not grab that it was 5 bucks. I think maybe even a dollar just the strap would have been nice to have at a minimum. That was dumb oh well. So tell me about the Eureka. Tent, I have not opened it up. Honestly, it looks pretty new. I'm not gonna be surprised. Open this up and see that it's only been used. Maybe once or twice. Is that the same eureka that makes the vacuums
@chado_outdoors4 ай бұрын
@@doinsngoins I believe they're both part of a larger parent company. During WW2, Eureka! made all of the mess and barracks tents and MASH tents for the Army. And if the one you got is the one I think, then it is a 4-seasom tent. Waterproofing may be worn off and will need a good coating, and zippers may need waxing, but it would definitely be worth reviving! And of course never trust their size rating. Only way it would be a 2-man tent is if both men with 4'10" 95lb Asians 😂 but toss in that Everest pad and the sleeping bag, then use the rest of the room for boots/gear and it's perfect!!
