I am new to Ipsy since they did not ship to Canada. I have the Boxy subscription with the boost and the Icon. The box is not always perfect, but the value is there and I like knowing what I am getting in advance so I can plan my other purchases if needed. Thanks for a fun video (and a cameo from Cam)😊

Allure beauty box is where its at for me. Mostly skincare with some makeup. Almost always end up using everything. Only problem with them is you can't select your skin tone. The makeup item is a color they think works for everyone but sometimes doesn't

I've gotten the Ipsy glam bag since it was $10 a month. I tried out Birchbox briefly, but went right back to Ipsy. I still love getting deluxe samples to try. Then I can buy the full size if I like a product. I haven't had to buy eye cream in years, though! Lol 😂 I end up gifting or donating some of the makeup bags.. and every Christmas, I put together my own Ipsy bag for my mom's stocking with products I don't use! 😊

Oh, Birchbox did go under! They screwed over a ton of people, including myself! I subscribed to them for with a year subscription last January and only received three of the boxes before they went completely under and finally they have been sold and purchased by a new company and they are trying very hard to get back up and running but it’s still a horrible mess.

Allure has been around a while and their shop does has limited but some good values on quality products. There are so many. One not mentioned was Kinder, for example. EyesCream Beauty had me from start up. I liked old Boxy and Ipsy. Very pleased Ipsy kept their little bags coming. For all around beauty and skincare Ispy still holds crown featuring the brands they do. Big changes in beauty box era now. I think the marketing will always evolve. A very long time ago, 70s, there was a "beauty club" of sorts called Cosmetique. Does anyone recall that? It was a choice items mailing, but it was really inexpensive and the first mail order beauty "club" I recall devoted to only make up /skin care. Novelty a bit, it was not anything high end, but a monthly treat. The concept was there though. This was a good video. One common statement in these comments seems to be stopping and cutting back or cancelling sub boxes. We are being more selective maybe. Lol. One declutter will open your eyes to that. It's wondeful to treat ourselves, and the products we do not use are usually excellent for gifting and sharing to family and friends. I miss Boxycharm the way it was, quality and nice mix of skin care and make up and the price point. Enthusiasts have tried a few boxes. EyesCream Beauty gal for a while now. January 2023 was a good one. Sounds like an opinion on a wine tasting. 😊 These boxes have been and remain fun and they do create a community of sorts. Who else is looking forward to the next video and monthly spoilers ? Even if taking a break. 😊

I really enjoyed this walk down subscription box lane. Birch box is out of business. There is a whole bad issue with it. Someone did buy it and I have seen it unboxed a few times and it’s not good. It’s like they’re using really old stock that must have been for birch box and even the presentation of the box isn’t nice. The content creators that I watched inbox it said they wouldn’t purchase it with their own money so they honestly wouldn’t recommend it. Man the AIA beauty box was such a huge hit. I really hope they can figure out stuff and come back. It was fantastic for people to try brands they have never done so before and for people who have but haven’t tried some of that brand’s products. Also there would be new release products from that brand in the AIA box. It was wonderful and such a fantastic idea. If they can’t come back it would be really nice of someone would start it up again. Now man Ipsy….i remember getting the glam bag many years ago and I live in Canada. It was fantastic but blah at the same time. I know there was only itty bitty samples way back then and if you got a deluxe size or happened to get a lipstick here and there you jumped for joy lol. Ipsy Glam bag plus and the Glam bag X wasn’t available in Canada until January of 2023. And obviously because of the merge happening that wasn’t announced at the time. I was so stinking excited to be getting all 3 of my subscriptions from boxycharm and then to get all 3 from Ipsy. Then bam 💥 they merged and back down to 3 from Ipsy lol. I really do miss the old boxycharm. Joe really did an over the top job with Boxycharm. I had boxycharm in 2017 for awhile and I remember it only being in a smaller box all the time and the Real Her brand was featured a lot for their makeup. Then I remember when Tarte started coming in the boxycharm. Holy smokes I was jumping for joy lol. I do kinda miss the surprise of not knowing the other items you were getting each month but I also really enjoy being able to pick my 3 items so I know it’s something I’m going to use or gift to someone so it’s a product not going to waste. Now Ipsy boy oh boy have I had a rough year with them. Ever since signing up for the Glam bag plus. I think it is extremely very few times that all my my orders for one month were correct. And I am still as of right now going back and forth about boxes and add ons from December 2023. And a shop order from December that still hasn’t even shipped. I emailed and was told it takes 3-5 business days for the shop order to be sent out . Ummmm excuse me but it’s been way longer and I said that. Then the response I got was we are behind on orders and will get them out as quickly as we can. People who have been ordering from the shopper this month have already gotten tracking or received their orders!!! Like ummm 🧐 something is up over here lol. Now I have to say I have not signed up for the slayglam box (bag) I’ve just been undecided about it. And now I am very happy I haven’t. Too many issues starting again. And Yari I just have to say those same things are happening with the Chic Beauty Box. I know for sure because I have had issues and had to cancel because it was just too much. Sending emails and not ever getting a response. Having to leave a note so nice comment on their instagram to get a response….thats not good. Even after sending a dm on their instagram. Now the person that helped me on the instagram DM’s was absolutely wonderful but can only do so much right! There are a heck of a lot of people complaining about paying and not getting their boxes. Not getting any responses by email or on their instagram DM’s. also some people commenting on their instagram saying give me my money back or send my box and they aren’t even answering to those comments. It’s not good. So that’s just an FYI! I swear it’s happening to a lot of people. I truly 17353829% enjoy Eyecream Beauty. The beautiful palettes that come in those subscriptions are outstanding 😮! If everything stays as is or even gets better I will not unsubscribe from them. I am in love with those subscriptions. And I personally had an issue with not receiving a monthly bag and one dm and bam 💥 I got an answer almost right away with a huge apology and a replacement being sent out. And they kept in contact with me the whole time. A+++++++ customer service with the Eyescream Beauty company! I highly highly recommend them if you like Indie brands and want all makeup. I truly hope Ipsy pulls up their socks. I enjoy getting those subscriptions but man with all of the issues I have had I just don’t know how much more one dedicated customer can take! And what would be so awesome 😎 is a takeover box once in awhile with Ipsy. Feature one whole brand in one boxycharm or the Icon box! I miss those happening with the old boxycharm as well. I had fab fit fun and Ipsy. My bedroom and bathroom were overcrowded with beauty products . I was taking a huge box of unopened stuff to work to give away it was so much stuff that I would never use. Fabfitfun got to the point where the quality went down. The boxes we paid a lot for used to be beautiful. When you opened the box, it was an experience that made one feel special. A magazine was included and beautiful tissue paper to peel back. I used to order extra boxes to give away as Christmas gifts. There was even a box for men one Christmas season that was amazing. Then the next Christmas season I did the same thing with the gifts and was so incredibly disappointed and personally hurt . The boxes were plane. The items appeared to be thrown in the box with wadded up brown paper. Their explanation was that they were cutting down on waste. But didn’t cut down on price. I could not use these boxes as gifts because of the poor quality, presentation, and tacky items. That was it for me . Canceled! Now they send me emails. I just can’t. I don’t have the budget like I used to nor the space. I’m still trying to get rid of products I’ll never use . Waste of my hard earned money.

The hut group created look fantastic and glossybox to showcase there products (Ameliorate, Biossance, Christophe Robin, ESPA, Eyeko, Grow Gorgeous, Illamasqua, Mio and Perricone MD). I had subscribed to both I ran into problems right from the start with look fantastic (it direct shipped from uk). Most cases it never showed or Canada post would return it. Glossybox I had both a uk and USA subscription. Eventually they stopped the uk and I just had USA. I would review all my boxes and collect points and it covered most of the extra boxes. Unfortunately 6 months before they closed down USA they closed Canada. To this day they still run a Canadian look fantastic web store and occasionally have one product boxes

I liked GlossyBox and loved their packaging and the special editions were awesome. They dwindled off to whatever products are left to sell it seems. In USA anyway. I was not aware they had been in business so long until Yari mentioned that in this video. I use the pretty boxes to store items and have missed them during their high point. The boxes could be hit or miss, but they did special editions very well. Lots of attention to detail.

I have been getting it the last 4 months and I’m in love! It can be hit or miss but it truly is fun if you are into a true mystery box. You can expect to receive a little bit of anything! It can be neutral and it can be bright colors. So you definitely have to be open minded for your money and time. Once you get established, past that first month or two they start to come in on a regular basis and you tend to forget that you get charged a month in advance. Me I pay the last day of the month so it ships like a week later or less. So I feel like it doesn’t take as long that way now that it’s been in going for a few months

Ive slowly given up most of the Beauty boxes like Glossybox, Slayglam, ZEESEA, Eyescream, and I just canceled Chic Beauty too. I think if IPSY doesn't do well soon I'm canceling my Ipsy glam, BoxyCharm & Icon, I was very disappointed in the January Glam& Boxy. However the 2 Beauty boxes I love are Lurella & P.Louise. Now they both only have their brand but they're excellent. P.Louise has expanded & is having a Brand new Factory here in the US. I also will never give up my FabFitFun 😊

Before eyescream I was really into boxycharm the only thing I ever liked from them was the Hollywood green tea mud mask. It smelled so great!!!!! I seen it on Amazon going got like 25$ but eyescream never misses!

In December I subscribed to Allure beauty box because of the first box being $10 less and also a bonus item ( Fenty Beauty Cheeks out ) I received my January box and it was definitely a good box . I got very lucky with ipsy/boxycharm, as I had spent a decade rarely wearing makeup or doing more than minimal skincare. It was a great tool to build a much, much nicer collection than my budget would indicate, and my ultra dry, large pored skin means I actually can use non-drying oily skin products and definitely use up hydrators much quicker than most people. And i have the complexion tone that most brands market to, am older & appreciate toned down shades & neutrals, & tend to have a more complicated routine. But its time to cancel soon, as my cupboard shelf if backups is full & the drugstore is killing it...lately I'm obsessed with drugstore single shadows, mostly from ollllld brands, that i get on the cheap using cvs coupons. Ive ordered from both LA Colors & Essence recently, and they even beat boxycharm prices per item. Saving my money for ole henriksen skincare, finally found a brand worth spending on, scored some crazy deals, but not wanting to count on sales to keep my skin healthy when winters & summers have become so much more severe here.

I’m kind of interested in Chic Box and Eyescream Beauty Box because of your unboxing videos. I love a beauty subscription. I just started subscribing to Ipsy in 2021. That’s also the year I got into makeup. I have also been able to score some great deals through their sales. I might be in the minority but I’ve been loving the Ipsy x Boxycharm. I upgraded from the Glam Bag to Boxycharm and I am enjoying getting more full sized makeup products. 😊 I also must commend you for your integrity. You can tell that you work hard on your channel but that you also care about the community you’ve built. BoxyCharm was my jam for years. In the beginning I received mostly makeup but when they began featuring skincare and beauty gadgets over makeup. I loved my boxyluxe subscription but couldn't afford to continue my subscription. I contemplated resubscribing until ipsy took over and most of the influencers I watch showed the lack of gunnage, mostly skincare over makeup, and much more. I preferred the OG BoxyCharm....

I was with Fab Fit Fun for a couple of year's. Got some amazing stuff. I tried Ipsy during that time to so disappointed. I just went again for the 1st time since 2017. Can't say I missed anything. I did get a baby sz Tarte Shape tape. Only thing I do like. Ordered charged for the razor . DIDN'T RECEIVE BUT ALL GOOD. I can't believe they are still going. They always screwed up something to just as received now. Nothing worth it. Not enough to see if it works for long term.

I ABSOLUTELY miss Joe and BoxyCharm!! I only was pissed a few times, for whatever reason...but I always got my money's worth. Once IPSY bought Boxy, it just started getting meh. I couldn't do it anymore, even though it changed to Boxy by IPSY, I felt as if the boxes were battling one another (though they were owned by the same company). I don't miss IPSY, but I do miss Joe and Boxy!! Especially when Joe would have them sneak peeks. I got 2 fabfit fun boxes, and then canceled. Now I have NO subscriptions, and I'm fine with it

Omg yes! They launched in 2013 and literally made everyone insane for beauty boxes. Next hing you know, even more beauty boxes started launching. None could keep up with Boxy though, and those who could almost compare, didn't make it. It was a great time for beauty boxes.

Not included , but I liked Glow Addict at the beginning, but then they started putting cheap products and repeat items in their boxes .. and the boxes got super expensive with the value wasn’t there
