Yarn Braids on Starter Locs~Tutorial (Part 1)

One of my best discoveries yet! I experimented with doing a protective style over my locs. I was retwisting too often and didnt want to thin out my starter locs. The yarn braids worked really well, don't you thinK? Check out my quick tutorial on yarn wraps as well!

So I just installed box braids over my locs, I started my locs with two strand twist and I'm about 3 mos in also, so did u find that it interrupted the budding process when u took them out? I want my locs fairly thick and I didn't even think about this before I installed my box braids lol

It does slow down the process a bit,especially that early in the locking process. Be careful when you take them out but you should be ok!

:( how about crochet braids? See I'm like you. I can't take the messy scalp and I've been researching for some protective styles that I can do but that won't undo my locs. 😩
