A Month Late! But my fav of your project is the sweater you made by taking apart an old sweater you made because you didn't like the color combo, and the new one was very good. It's actually what got me into your home page and started watching all your videos. I right now have this problem of not liking something I made before because of the color, and I really wished I had picked better (or had better senses of color matching), but taking them apart just is like seeing hours of my work vanishing... In all I really admire your determination in being a fabric artist and dedicated into creating something you really like and really would wear!

I commend you for putting the yarn back. I think when was I think... This year in February I went to a big box store in Nice, France after a trip to Rocquebrune (right after Monte Carlo). It's a beautiful seafront super light hike/walkjng trail. So you can imagine how our feet were tired. Anyways I stood there for over an hour just looking at their yarn and fabric section. I immediately knew the fabric section wasn't for me. It felt more so like tapestry fabric: so very thick compared to what I buy at home. Basically it was quite unusable (I could've still made it usable as I'm stubborn) for fashion. Then just stood there some more and ended up buying some fingering cotton yarn I still haven't made anything with apart from a macrame bracelet for my mom as it was too thin for the original project (I even got the wrong crochet hook for it). I might finish the bra top I was making to go underneath some sheer top or for chilling at the park/beach when it's not hot enough to take a dip but too hot to wear a shirt. Whilst I still have my actual bikini yarn sitting there waiting for me to finish my bottoms. Edit: despite the fabric section was wack I still went back to it over and over thinking I'd find anything. And I was also walking back and forth trying to get signal to Google patterns to make for the yarn I still hadn't yet bought. Also they had some acrylic yarn sets for sweaters! So a set number of yarn balls for a set size all sold in a bundle. The only downside is that acrylic can be really itchy if it's not good quality so it was a downside you couldn't feel it. For example I'm currently making a daisy granny square throw for the couch with acrylic (as it would've been cheaper for such a huge size) and it's super duper soft. On the other hand last year I finished a sweater made from 50% wool and 50% acrylic yarn (it's called sport by arvier I believe. It's an italian brand) and it's so itchy I have to wear a long sleeve with it. But it's such a cute sweater.
