I also did the hop this year. First time hopping. Made it to all 12 with my crochet group. Would never do it on my own without a designated navigator and planned route. It was so stressful but the most fun I've had in years. My favorite patterns ended up being the Up the Beanstalk Scarf that Amazing Threads had and the crochet pattern offered by Knit and Bolt, the Three Nights Hat.

I can't believe I didn't know about this event, I live so close to Knit and Bolt! The measuring tape I keep on me at all times has their logo on it 😅 So excited to take part next year!

Your little red riding hood looks amazing!! 😍 I’m obsessed with the red and black you chose. And the texture just adds so much. It’s frickin awesome. I definitely wanna make one! I wish we had cool yarn stores like that in my area. Sadly we don’t have any at all ☹️ Meeting and speaking with everyone at the bar after the event sounds like such a blast. I don’t personally know anyone else who crochets, only people online. I bet it was so fun to talk with so many other people that also love crocheting and knitting. 🖤❤🖤🦇

​@fionastube2011 hello! The first time I went on the website it was luckilly on the front page. This time I searched for "Sara Lawrence" scroll down a bit after being on their page and then select "featured designs". The Hood is then listed for both crochet and knit. Hope this helps 💜

My first time trick or treating I was little red riding hood!!! My brother and I cherished that red cape for years- and he and I used it as a superhero cape untill we out grew the tiny thing completely. Hearing you talk about your costume idea brought back very fond memories 🎃. Now I'm really feeling a little red riding hood inspired ruana... lets hope I can finish my other 5 wips this year and start it lol (I've only finished one hat =p). Thank you for the spooky feel-good vibes as always, time spent in the yarn dungeon is always so fun. Can't wait to see the finished hood! 🦇
