Perfect timing. I'm planning on making a handkerchief for St. Patrick's Day. This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you.

I wasted 12 years trying to fix the knots first and then the differences between one shuttle and two shuttles, and I got saved by you now finally with every video of yours🤗🤗

Mari Lee This video coming out is perfect timing for me! I tatted some years ago and wanting to get back into it. I want to do this exact edging for a smocked ornament I want to make. I remembered how to do the double stitch but turning work etc... I couldn't exactly remember how its done. I have bought both your craftsy classes and have your books. Now all I have to do is get busy!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for all you have done for popularizing tatting!!

Marilee, I am so impressed with this video. I just started tatting and have watched a whole bunch of these videos to try to get an understanding of how to put it all together. You clearly show each step of the process, and I can't wait to try this tonight. I will look for your books, as well. Thanks so much for your clear instruction.

Marilee, thanks for the video😁. It's been several years since I tried shuttle tatting. I did have success with needle tatting, but for some reason had a really hard time getting the shuttle through the loops the correct way. For some reason this particular video makes it look easier, maybe it's the way you're holding the thread, so I will try again

Had this problem where I didn't have another ball of the same thread. Checked a few other videos but it didn't address this problem. Many thanks, Marilee, for posting this video - super helpful! 🥰

I've only recently started tatting and yours is the first video that made sense to me, using the multicoloured thread really helped too plus your instruction

It is the same learning anything new, practice a few minutes each day, and over time you’ll notice improvement.

It’s okay, just try a little bit at a time. Sometimes I’ve seen people working at it for too long and then they get frustrated. Short, simple practice sessions are best at first.

May I know what kind of thread are you using? My thread is being twisted when I try to pull out after ending a round.
