There's also the fact of how tight-knit family ties are with not just humans, but also dogs/wolves. Nothing is more important to either than their family/pack, and they will fight tooth and nail if need be to protect their family/pack, even if it kills them. And Moroha couldn't possibly find a safer place in the world than with her mother & father. Hell, what child *wouldn't* feel happy and safe to be wrapped in the arms of their father like that? Now we just need to see Towa & Setsuna reunited with Rin & Sesshomaru. :)

@@angiecakes04 Moroha does mention how alone she was a few times and that she's been treated very poorly as a quarter demon. The writing isn't too good since it tells one side of her backstory but never shows it. The show SHOWS us her life may have been a bit iffy given her heritage but better than inuyasha's. But it also wants TELL us her life was equally as bad as his. If you aren't paying attention you wouldn't know she had a terrible upbringing because nothing beyond a few lines of dialogue clarify she did. For the most part she seems like a regular demon kid living in this world.

My dad tries as much as possible not to cry in front of me, because he knows that it scares me, and he's always more focused on making sure I'm okay. I immediately thought the same for Inuyasha. This scene is so surreal. When Adult Swim first showed Inuyasha back in 2002 I think, he was just a very angry, confused and alone person who felt betrayed. I was happy that he got a happy ending with the Final Act, but this moment felt really special, as for the first time this is a way, way different Inuyasha. He still has some stubbornness, but for the first time he doesn't just have friends, or a wife... but now a kid that he can raise. Such a long journey of his character to have so much go right in his life, and take away his loneliness that he had growing up.

I don’t know how many anime series I have watched in my lifetime that show the father always being awkward or very bad at showing emotions towards his children. ESPECIALLY in Shounen anime. In a single moment Inuyasha has become one of the few father figures I could count on my two hands but isn’t afraid to not only hug his child but actually tell them how they feel!!! For a character that has always been very awkward, seeing that he’s learned from what it feels like to be a child with a strained relationship from their parents- wishing to be loved and acknowledged, and not repeating the same mistakes, is so rewarding!!! 😭😭😭💖💖💖

I really loved this scene the most of this episode when Moroha was crying I also cried tears of happiness for her because she is finally reunited with her parents Inuyasha and Kagome. The last episode with Moroha hugging her mother it was truly beautiful but with this episode it definitely hit me the most because I’m waiting for that special reunion with my own father I haven’t seen him in 2 years due to Covid but we still keep in touch by texting but it just doesn’t feel the same. I can definitely tell that Moroha will be a daddy’s girl just like me.

Realizing that Towa and Setsuna have met their father and he didn't care at all about them basically really hurts. Seeshomaru is a cold character so it makes sense but I get the feeling that when Moroha met Inuyasha and Kagome, they felt dad because they realized that they didn't get to feel that happiness of meeting their parents. But who knows- I'm just glad Moroha got to see her parents!

He does care. He loves his kids. His trying to protect them. I mean think about it, if he can love a human girl and procreate with her, he clearly loves his daughters too, just not sure how to show it. And who can blame him, have you seen his mother? Can't imagine how she showed affection to him. I don't think they would get what Inuyasha did with his daughter, but I'm sure there will be something.

Even Moroha was awkward around her parents at first. The only reason Inuyasha responded so well was because of Kagome's influence in his life. Whereas Sesshomaru and Rin are born and living in a time period where deep affection is not publicly shown through touch but rather actions. That's my take on it at least. We'll see.

Oh my god, i keep repeating this scene. This is so emotional. That cry at the end is so real. I betya it wasn't the longing or the finally the made her broke down. It was that warmth like ever lived feeling so normal and like nothing even remotely depressing happened to you or u dont even feel like ur missing something but then that one warmth, that hug just feels so sweet it makes u cry.

Seems like the hug with Kagome didn't really register with Moroha how much her parents missed her and were hurt by not being there for her but, when Inuyasha said those words, it hit her like a truck and she completely lost control of her emotions, I really think this is how anyone in real life would feel. Also, Setsuna seems to be dealing with a lot of emotions too, she seems both happy for Moroha, but sad and jealous that she is yet unable to experience the same feeling, when she grabbed Rin's hand it was to reassure herself that she at least had a sister to share the burden and was not all alone like their cousin. These were two really great episodes.
