لُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
Translation:
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the delusion of enjoyment.

Summary Episode 10- names of Jannah In a Hadith Qudsi (highest category of hadith), Allah has prepared for righteous servants, that which no man has seen, heard, no human has even imagined/conceived. This is interesting as the is full of descriptions, Ibn Abbas mentions there is nothing in Jannah that is similar to anything to earth, except the name, the words like , (fruits), etc are only similar, everything else is different and beyond our imagination Surah v17 mentions that no soul has ever realised what has been hidden from them for the work that they have done The place that a whip occupies (tiny area), that area in is worth more than all the blessings of this world. A bedouin visted the prophet SAW, who observed the beduin praying, when asked about what duas he read during his prayers, he mentions simple duas of ‘ashahud’ and asking allah for jannah’, the bedouin said I havent memorised your murmurings (those duas), he was confirmed that his duas were correct and everything (duas) was around it- in other words our ultimate goal is for jannah This series is influenced by a book by Ibn Qayyim about Jannah and other references The word jannah is used over 120 times in the quran, the root of jannah, jeen refers to something hidden, (eg jinn are hidden, janeen is something hidden in the womb, etc). Daarus salaam is used twice in quran, ‘allah is calling to daarus salaam’. Daar meaning abode and salaam meaning a place of peace, security, land of no pain or suffering or grief, never any worry about anything. Also greeted with salaam, the angels say salaam and people say salam, most importantly Allah will greet them with salaam. Nobody shall feel anger towards another, there will be no animosity in and their hearts will be united Daarul - a place they stay forever, live there , no expulsion Daarul Qaraar- the abode of no coming back, no changing, it will be eternally Daarul Akhirah- abode of next life, this term contrasts with this world which is temprorary, dunya means close by, those who do good in this world will get good in this world, but the daarul akhira is better Jannatul - retire to a place of comfort. Ma'wa is used in quran ti describe jahannam, but its used several times positively with jannah, whoever fears meeting his lord and prohibits himself from whatever desire he had, then jannah shall be the ma’wa for him Janaatu'ADN - and to be remain at a place and be firm, Daar al - in means animals however wrong interpretation. Hayawaan comes from which life/to live. Hayawaan connotates to being the real life. In this life we sleep and die, in we don’t sleep, no death, that is he real life where we are awake, the ultimate full life Firdous- it goes back to other languages (a cognate), the term sound similar to ‘paradise’ connotating to them being related by similar . In surah , those who believe and do good deeds shall have , is the plural of which means every pure blessing/enjoyment/pleasure. Jannatun na’eem means every single ni’ma/ pleasure shall be in jannah Maqaamin - means place/status, here means peace, safe, no worry, grief, there's no war/poverty/hatred/distress. Similar to salaam Daarul , of righteous/pious. Nobody wants to have bad neighbours, everybody in will be righteous and pious Husna - for those who do good shall have and shall have more than al , al husna means excellece, the best of the best, nothing competes with al husna, of perfection Maq'aadi sidqn - sidq means place of truthfulness and honesty, maq’aad means place of rest. It’s the abode in truth, in the sense that it will be seen to be true, also only people who believed in the truth shall get to see it and its verified, only people that get there were people of truth, believed and acted in truth and honesty in this world Please rememver me and the ummah in your duas

Allahumma inna nas'aluka ridaka wal jannah wa ziyada, wa na'uthubika min sakhatika wan naar

This life lasts for a few decades and is meant as both a lesson and a test. Paradise lasts forever and is designed to exalt the faithful to God through His infinite glory and eternal grace. 32:17 No human being can imagine what blissful delights, as yet hidden, await them [in the life to come] as a reward for all that they did. The impossibility of ever really imagining paradise was summed up by the Prophet in the well-authenticated hadith: "God says: 'I have readied for My righteous servants what no eye has ever seen, and no ear has ever heard, and no heart of man has ever conceived."' (Bukhari and Muslim). The nature of eternal bliss may, however, be glimpsed through certain allegorical phenomena. 55:46 BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] - (47) which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? - (48) [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. A human being consists of both a body and a soul. The faithful soul shines like a radiant star while, like the moon, the body grows, declines, dies, and is born again. In the heavenly realm, the soul recombines with the body encompassing it with light and the heart and mind fully reawaken with death in all of its aspects forever cast away. 55:50 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. (51) Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? The two springs of paradise symbolize the two sources or streams of experience accessible to human awareness: the one that descends from glory and is perceived by the mind and the one that rises from grace and is felt by the heart. In the gardens of paradise the contemplative mind reaches out for God's glory through ever greater divine comprehension in an ever more ecstatic state of wonder while the devotional heart strives for God's grace through ever-deepening divine insight in an ever more rapturous state of bliss and eternal human consciousness grows. 55:62 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens - (63) which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? - (64) two [gardens] of the deepest green. Comprehension branches out and insight deepens in ever more perfect, ever more beautiful gardens of wondrous colour amazingly arrayed and awesomely adorned while, at the heart of it all, remain the ever-green gardens of earthly paradise where, as the rightful sovereign owner, the righteous soul can rest in peace. A far green country with golden shores by the sea where flowering gardens of graceful palatial glory blossom after the rain and shine under the rainbow of an endless blessed Day while, beyond the glittering ocean, new worlds beckon forever. 39:74 And they will exclaim: "All praise is due to God, who has made His promise to us come true, and has bestowed upon us this expanse [of bliss] as our portion, so that we may dwell in paradise as we please!" 39:75 And how excellent a reward will it be for those who laboured [in God's way]! Experienced through ever-widening sense perceptions, consciousness grows like a rising ocean as profound sensations accumulate over time and old shorelines retreat beneath the waves of ever-higher awareness elevating the faithful from the physical plane through the dawn of a new Day and, as supernatural beings, they enter the elemental realms where golden clouds in an infinite sky melt away into an eternal sunrise. 56:15 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, (16) reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. A new Day dawns and, as celestial luminaries, the faithful enter the angelic kingdoms of light where drifting nebula billow into vast pillars of creation and dissolve into a sea of stars. And then above and far beyond to the tree of the word blossoming by the River of Life at the gates of New Jerusalem. 2:33 And as soon as [Adam] had conveyed unto them their names, [God] said: "Did I not say unto you, 'Verily, I alone know the hidden reality of the heavens and the earth, and know all that you bring into the open and all that you would conceal?'" 2:34 And when We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam!" - they all prostrated themselves, save Iblis... Human consciousness eventually encompasses the highest angelic kingdom and, resting on a throne of angels, human beings so ethereal that their souls shimmer through shining limbs begin to fulfil their ultimate destiny as they eat the sacred food of divine comprehension and drink the blessed wine of divine understanding ascending, time after time, through the celestial gates and into the White City where the Throne shines on the Day of the Festival with the infinite Glory and eternal Grace of God. 83:22 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous will indeed be in bliss: (23) [resting] on couches, they will look up [to God]: (24) upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss. Beautiful lecture ! , however wanted to make a note . He said the ultimate Goal is Jannah. Which is technically not True! The ultimate Goal is to be with Allah. Like the Dua of Aasiya “ O Allah build for me a house next to you in Jannah” She asked To be next to Allah which is “ Al Muqqurabun, Many from the first generation and a few in the later generations “ in surah Waaqiah. So ultimate Goal is Allah

So my question is when you start doing anything in Jannah why would you ever stop it, what will make you think ok that's enough, wouldn't that mean in a sort of way that you were bored of it or had enough?
