Hmhm! Two days in Jahannam! Thanks but no thanks. Even a fraction of a second in Jahannam is not something I can stand. Wallahi when ever I accidentally scald my skin from a burning fire or hot water in this world, even though it's a small or even a tiny portion of my body, the pain feels unbearable. And this lasts usually for an hour before it subsides. Yet it is unbearable. Ya Allah save us from the punishment of Jahannam. Save us from your wrath. 🤲🏼

Episode 2 of The life in the Barzakh Transitions of the soul Allah swt used word Ruh for Angel Jibreal, Allah swt called Quran as Ruh, The spirit that Allah blown into the Mariyam is called Ruh, sole inside the body is called Ruh. When Nafs exit the body the eye's follow it that's y the dead eyes look up. When muslim is about to enter the next world and leave this world, the malukul mout comes and sits near his head. Every person is assigned with their Malukul mout. The angels of the heaven comes down as if their faces are bright and they have with them the shrif of Jannah and perfume of Jannah and they sit across the dead , the angels will say O beautiful soul come out and sole exit like a flow. The angles will not left the sole alone, they will cover and perfume with the Jannah on it and every time they are going up to Allah,they will pass by many group of angels and they ask who is this sole. The angels will say with the best names which we will be represented by the people of this duniya like honest person, generous person. We go through every heavens, then finally at 7th heaven the Allah will say to write his name in the "ILLIAN" Then Allah will say return his sole back to earth then reunite with the body. The angels will come and ask him questions Man Rabuk, Man Deenuk, who was this man who sent amongst you and how do you know all these (Quran). Then a voice will be called from the heaven, he has spoken the thruth, give him the clothes of Jannah and show him his place in Jannah then his grave is made vast. Your Good Deeds will become actual comfort to you in grave. As for the kafir, his name will be written in SIjjin.

This has been narrated in the saheeh ahaadeeth, such as that narrated from Umm al-Mu’mineen ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pray in his salaah: “Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min ‘adhaab al-qabri, wa a’oodhu bika min fitnat il-maseeh il-dajjaal, wa a’oodhu bika min fitnat il-mahyaa wa fitnat il-mamaat. Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min al-ma’tham wa’l-maghram (O Allaah, I seek refuge with You from the torment of the grave, I seek refuge with You from the fitnah of the Dajjaal, and I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death. O Allaah, I seek refuge with You from sin and debt).” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 789)

One thing I heard that scared me a lot... The part about the 'thread' like connection... Will as my aunt passed away her daughter said she saw something just like a the end of a white thread swirling in air and disappearing coming out of her mouth...and after hearing this information I felt a bit scared... There are too many evidence that Quran and sunnah is the whole Truth

Episode 2 Notes: Transitions of the Soul What is the Difference between Ruh & Nafs? Ruh primarily refers to that which gives life i.e, the Soul and generally Nafs i.e the self, is created when the body and Ruh are combined. This means they are distinct. However there are times in the Quran and Hadith, when the two terms are used interchangeably. The Hadith of Al Bara Ibn Azib RA, is viewed as the most in-depth when it comes to the journey of the Ruh. Its reported in Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and many others. The Hadith describes in detail the journey of the righteous and unrighteous souls The Journey of the Righteous Soul in the Barzakh Below is the journey of the righteous soul from authentic Hadith: 1. A Malak Al Maut comes and sits at the head of the Muslim who is about to die. 2. A delegation from the angels of mercy come down with shrouds and perfumes of Jannah. From the Muslims perspective, (depending upon their piety) the angels may be as far as their eyes can see. 3. An angel of death tells the Ruh of the Muslim who is about to die, to depart the body in a gentle manner so they can meet Allah SWTs pleasure. The Muslim’s Ruh then leaves the body and this causes their physical death. The righteous Muslims Ruh will exit the body, like how water leaves a jug. 4. The angels of mercy then wrap the Ruh in the shrouds of Jannah and apply the perfume of Jannah too it. They then take the Ruh up to the heavens. As the angels ascend, they will be asked about the deceased Ruh by other angels enroute. These other angels will then praise the deceased soul for their righteousness. 5. The angels of mercy continue their ascent until they reach the doors of the 7th Heaven. There Allah SWT tells the angels to write the deceased’s name in the register of Ilyin. Allah SWT then commands angels to take the Ruh back down to the earth. 6. The Muslim Ruh then meets the two angels, Munkar and Nakir where they undergo the Fitnah of the Grave i.e the deceased soul is asked the 3 questions. 7. The Muslim Ruh passes the Fitnah of the Grave and Allah SWT then tells the angels to give the righteous soul, the couch and the clothes of Jannah. The Ruh is then able to see their house in Jannah and is able to smell/hear the fragrance/sounds of Jannah. It is at this time that, the grave of Muslim Ruh is enlarged 8. The Muslim Ruh is then visited by their good deeds in a form that, will comfort them. 9. The Muslim Ruh now at peace does Dua to Allah SWT, requesting Qiyamah happens immediately so they can enter their Jannah. The Journey of the Unrighteous Soul in the Barzakh Below is the journey of the unrighteous soul from authentic Hadith: 1. A Malak Al Maut comes and sits at the head of the person who is about to die. 2. A delegation of Angels from Heaven, come down and they look frightening. From the sinful persons perspective, (depending upon the level of their sins) the angels may be as far as their eyes can see. 3. An angel of death tells the Ruh of the sinner who is about to die, to depart the body in a harsh manner so they can meet Allah SWTs wrath. The sinners Ruh then leaves the body and this causes their physical death. The soul of the sinner will exit the body in a very painful manner because they don’t want to leave it. 4. The angels then wrap the Ruh in the shrouds of Jahannam. They then take the Ruh up to the heavens. As the angels ascend, they will be asked about the deceased Ruh by other angels enroute. These other angels will then insult the deceased soul for their sinfulness. 5. The Angels will ascend with the soul and the soul will not be granted permission to ascend up to the Heavens. 6. Allah SWT will tell the Angels to write the deceased name, in the register of Sijjin and send the evil soul back to earth to await Qiyamah. 7. The sinful Ruh will then been thrown back into their body. 8. Munkar and Nakir will come and ask the 3 questions. The sinful Ruh will say he doesn’t know. But, Allah SWT will say the person has lied because they knew the answers but, chose to engage in Kufr. 9. The Angels will then wrap the evil soul with the shroud and smoke of Jahannam. This is also when the soul will see his place in Jahannam. 10. The Qabr of the evil Ruh will then become dark and dank. It will then begin to shrink until the persons ribcages crush into one another. 11. A terrifying entity will come to the evil soul. This entity will claim it is the evil Ruh’s bad deeds, coming to visit them. 12. The evil soul will then do a Dua asking Allah SWT, to never allow Qiyamah to happen. Fun Trivia fact: Every soul has a specific Malak Al Maut assigned to them. Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW taught the Muslims a Dua to use for protection against the punishment of the grave. It is as follows: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، Allaahumma Innee A Oothu Bika Min Athaabil-Qabr Translation: Oh Allah SWT save me from the punishment of the grave. ======================================================================================== Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Life in the Barzakh Series Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Life in the Barzakh series. Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Barzakh series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it. You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes. One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. It Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah. Lastly, I have uploaded the notes to Dropbox, if anyone wants them in one document then comment below. I also have done notes on Sheikh YQs Seerah series and Mothers of the Believers series. You can find them below the episodes on his channel in comments. Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins. Ameen!

About the ruh and nafs, I would say that ruh is the physical entity( like light or Allahu 3lam how Allah made it) and the nafs is the character of that ruh. Just like People have all the same body but characters are different. Allahu a'lam.

Assalaamo alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. Saying that " some people ( Muslims of course) will take their punishment in grave (Barzakh) and on the Day of Judgement, they will not get punishment" needs evidence from a Hadeeth or the Quraan. As we know that the Prophet salla Allaho alayhi wa sallam said that grave (barzakh ) is the first stage of the stages of the aakhirah, if it is good then all the stages will be good and if it is bad then all of the stages will be bad. Also it is said that Uthmaan radhiyalaho anhu used to weep on graves. Someone asked him the cause of his weeping. He answered with the same hadith saying that those whose this stage is good his all stage will be good and whose this stage is bad, his all stages will be bad. So your saying (given above) contradicts the hadeeth of the Prophet salla Allaho alayhi wa sallam due to which Uthmaan radhiyalaho anhu used to weep on graves.
@NaeemIbnYusuf2 жыл бұрын
Wa'alaikum AlSalaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh I ask Allah to bless you and increase you in goodness and knowledge. Unless i'm mistaken, I believe that you may have accidentally mistranslated/misquoted the hadeeth that you have referred to. The hadeeth is as follows: Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: إِنَّ الْقَبْرَ أَوَّلُ مَنْزِلٍ مِنْ مَنَازِلِ الْآخِرَةِ فَإِنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَيْسَرُ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْجُ مِنْهُ فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ مَا رَأَيْتُ مَنْظَرًا قَطُّ إِلَّا الْقَبْرُ أَفْظَعُ مِنْهُ “Verily, the grave is the first stage of the Hereafter. If one progresses successfully through it, whatever comes after will be easy for him. If one does not successfully progress through it, whatever comes after will be hard/intense for him. I have never seen anything more frightening than the grave." [Sunan al-Tirmidhī] The hadeeth clearly indicates that success in the grave will lead to ease in the later stages, while one who doesn't have success therein will face difficulty. It does not, however, state that one will necessarily face the punishment of Hellfire. Similarly it does not state that "if it is bad then all stages are bad". To state that it does is a misrepresentation of the hadeeth itself. Let's also keep in mind that ease/difficulty are not necessarily indicative of success/failure or punishment/reward in the Hereafter. A person may have a difficult Reckoning, for example, yet be a person who is successful (e.g. The man, mentioned in hadeeth, who will have 99 scrolls of sin and only the statement, "I testity that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and i testify that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger" to his credit. For details see www.abuaminaelias.com/dailyhadithonline/2021/10/26/name-of-allah-heavier/) I ask Allah (Most High) to bless us, grant us success and ease in the next life

Just a little correction, at about 18:25, Malak ul Maut is not nakira (indefinite), it is the angel and not an angel, because it is added to ma’rifa (definite); the word death “almaut” is definite, so the word engel that is added to it is also definite.
