Those weren't the graphics of Mario 64-those were the concept graphics for Super Mario RPG. That same image of Mario is on the Mario RPG box art--which the SNES was capable of.

I have a S-Video that is Nintendo brand that came with my Super Famicom.
@CarmenOfSpades10 жыл бұрын
Nintendo (both Nintendo in Japan and NOA) did sell official S-video cables even back in the SNES days...
@yauy12 жыл бұрын
i've thought about it. i'd have a lot less to say because it wouldn't be comparing regional variations. you're not the only one who has asked, though so maybe i'll consider it again. :)

Great vid, Didnt know about that S-Video fact. May try that with my original SNES. I have the boxed model that came with both Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars Cartridges. Don't know why they separated the two when they had SMW + All-Stars but they did.

Nintendo (of America, at least) actually did manufacture and sell S-Video cables for the SNES. I remember purchasing mine through their own direct mail-order service, and for a time they sold it on their site's online store, too. I don't think they sold the cables in retail stores. Mine came in a very simple plastic bag with an official Nintendo cardboard "seal," for lack of a better term.

Brings back some memories. Mine was the same, but included Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and the box had a yellow sticker with that information on it, and the cartridge was in the box with the system.

I've seen that one. I always loved how you just dropped the cartridge right in that perfectly shaped cut out for it!

Looking at the controllers for Super Famicom Jr... I think I've just figured out why the cheap SNES controllers selling on Ebay has the motherboard with the name Nintendo on it, which is the inside of the controller.

Just got a Super Famicom Jr and only have 2 games: Final Fight Guy and Sper Adventure Island. I have some more ordered, but I love the system. Looks just like my several Super NES Minis. I like the colors of the SNES Mini better, but both are good looking consoles. Really enjoy your videos and have subscribed!

The little grey pieces of the sf jr look better than the fugly purple. Damn shame it's impossible to use snes carts on the sf jr :/
@EmilyVernonRubiksCubed9 жыл бұрын
I've been importing a lot of SFC games as of late, they are much cheaper than their american counterparts even with shipping (I have a clone console that can play them in English which is nice), my best find was FF6 complete in box for $15 and I got Chrono Trigger for $4.

So, I have the purple version of this one, like, the buttons and switches are purple and they seem to have different plug ins. There's only two on the back of mine and I can't seem to get it to fit back together :x I did when I was little but it's been almost 10 years since I've played or even put it together -sigh- Any tips?

Here's something I didn't understand. How is styrofoam bad for the environment?
@pridakfan2537 жыл бұрын
Because it doesn't break down over time like cardboard and paper do (though there do exist some worms that can eat it). Also if it burns it releases toxic fumes.

Not including the hookups makes no sense at all. The consumers don't save any money because they would still be forced to buy the AC adapter and the AV/RF cables separately. Completely pointless in my opinion.
