How much fun would it be to get to see these specific members reunite as grown men and just blow the audience right out of the water again in a new reunion performance, singing as men in their new voices?! This extraordinary group of singers is capable of blowing the audience right out the front doors of the concert Hall and onto the streets! Watching them perform at their unique time and place in history together is truly special. I only wish I could have heard Yoshi sing more solos in his register. I love his (short but sweet) harmony in this performance of Yovoh and (likewise short but sweet) melody solo on Yerushalayim. I'd be willing to pay upwards of 300 dollars to be in the nose bleed section just to see them again, (in their sequence vests) for a full concert reunion performance! In showbiz they say: "Always leave your audience wanting more" (check) but please, not for too much longer! Bravo! Encore! Yovoh! Sing His praises (again, please ;0). I would very much enjoy seeing a performance by these same very talented singers. Talk about your favorite boy band - these guys rock! I bet they still got it! I love these kids' full tilt unbribled passion so much! The boyz are buff!

sorry for randomly replying to your comment but I'm dying to know more. Was mbc considered cool back then? Did kids really want to be in mbc/ did kids have a fav member like with boy bands? Do you have the songs stuck in your head when you read the Torah sometimes or was it a little weird to hear verses made into absolute bangers at first? Are there older people who consider it tacky/ inappropriate (from my experience w older catholic people I'd sort of expect that)? Are there songs that are seasonal classics (kind of like All I Want for Christmas is you, if that makes sense)? Love & appreciation from a catholic-raised now agnostic, this kind of music is so new to me (we hardly had christian rock growing up) and I adore it! It feels like when I first discovered caramelldansen as a middle schooler & it makes me happy to see people connect with religion/ spirituality in such a positive way.
@JudithYD2 жыл бұрын
@@meeomelovescookiesandhisto459 I did enjoy mbc as a kid but my favorite Jewish music growing up was the Amudai Shaish choir (they did 2 amazing albums that I used to listen to all the time), Judaea, Safam, Megama Duo ,(which is Moshe Yess and a second performer, I forgot who) and Shimon and Ilana Sing Songs of Celebration. The latter was a wonderful record (yes, vinyl) that I wish I could get in digital. It was all these amazing Hebrew songs like Ten Shabbat, Machar, with English and Hebrew lyrics mixed together. Later, in my teen years, I got into Diaspora Yeshiva Band, and Lenny Solomon/Shock Rock (who is my brother - full disclosure), Gad Elbaz, Yardena Arazi, The Chevra and Lev Tahor. But it was nothing like boy bands, we didn't obsess on the singers, we just enjoyed the music. Yes, I just dropped a lot of names here and you'll find most of them here on KZbin. I was also unusual in that I was in a household where my father was a chazan (cantor) and his father was also a chazan, and we sang all the time. And I grew up on a mixture of Jewish and secular music. What's funny is that until this all blew up, mbc was seen as kids music and now I have rediscovered them, thanks to them blowing up on TikTok.

@@britnysnodgrass907 Not sure what you're referring to. Binyamin at times seems very uninterested, like maybe he's not trying to dance to hard to preserve his breath, or maybe he's just not a very energized dancer - but then he proceeds to go out and sing with amazing vocal control, voice, etc. Unless I'm misunderstanding.
@wmhfv992 Жыл бұрын
@@britnysnodgrass907 I get the feeling that he is just one of those phenomenal singers that doesn't really care much for the fanfare of dancing. David gets a lot of praise for his stage presence, but his dancing is also very minimal, the difference is just that he smiles, side-steps on beat, and does a lot of flourishing with his free arm when he sings. This is not a slight at either of them, they are both completely valid and successful performance choices.
