How is your experience with the yaw vr a in a flight simulator? I tried the yaw VR at CES the other week and loved it but was only demonstrated with a roller coaster simulater but my thing is flight and racing sims.. I ask as in your video the yaw vr doesn't seem to pitch and roll in the direction and at the same time the aircraft is pitching and rolling virtually in DCS for some reason.. is this an issue with your Yaw VR or just your simtools personal settings or are the videos not in sync? Thanks for your feedback
@dande70045 жыл бұрын
Hi, yo your first question: When setup properly it feels really well, its fun, adds deep to the experience. I had really inmersive moments, and win a dogfight have an added satisfaction feeling.😝 For your second question; Here we have 2 diferent things: 1This was a quick video edit with guestated sincronizatión 2 and DCS experimental plugin behaves diferent than standart one, a fast explanation is that this plugin tries to emulate forces amd the other one is better for positional emulation. Right now achieve perfect results its a matter of invest time on setup simtools. I'm new to that software and it have many layers of configuration. This video was a quick test. It feels really well (still a bit bumpy when decelerating) ingame

@@dande7004 thanks for your feedback.. Appreciated! 🙏 So overall it sounds like you are satisfied with the product but you're saying you could tweak it more to make it more accurately pitch, roll and yaw exactly as the aircraft does and synchronized with those virtual aircraft movements in dcs or are you saying you can't synchronize that accurately? Have you tried in car racing sims too? If so, how was that experience? Thank you 🙏

I think it has some serious flaws. When you turn a plane in high g, you dont actually move in that direction (like here: left turn - chair goes left) but it should go towards the opposite direction to press tje body against the chair. This simulates the g forces on the body. When you fly constantly a turn you are pressed downwards and not sidewards... so in this case the pure angle is not immersive but rather weird.
