Thank you so much for watching, and I'm glad you found it helpful. One tip is never fully inflate, only do to 90%. People have issues with them deflating, but we think it is because they inflate fully, and they leak/burst. Ours have been great, though👍

great video, thanks for honest reviews. FYI every inflatable product goes down especially when using an electric pump. This is because the air going in is hot ,this cools down at night when the temperature drops and cool air takes up less volume. There is also an element of stretch with any material that inflates.

Hi Dagnut, very true. we actually forgot to highlight that we did only inflate to about 90%, so that it allowed for a bit of stretch.

Oh dear Hadwins, you've got a lot to answer for. 😮 I was simply searching for reviews on the Yawn airbed and stumbled on your vlog. I'm not a camper, neither of us have camped since we were kids in the guides and scouts and we're 62 now! I just wanted the bed for extra visitors over Christmas etc. However......after watching a few more of your vlogs I am now the proud owner of an Outwell Phoenix 7ATC polycotten tent!!!!! 😂 We've had our first camp and absolutely loved it. We're hooked and can't wait to go again. Your recommendations for equipment have been spot on too and really helped with our set up. Coincidentally, the tent came up a couple of weeks after first watching your vlog as a friend was selling theirs so we knew it was too good an opportunity to pass on. Also, there have been some great sales with additional discounts so we've got our essentials at really good prices. So the cost of the intial set up hasn't been too painful but we know it will pay for itself rather than paying for B&Bs in future. They will be a winter treat instead. We bought the Yawn airbed, 2 Outdoor Revolution armchairs and a footrest (all in sales.) Also, the griddle and the little collapsible campfire. All great recommendations. Even the velcro tip! Next year we'll be looking at buying a roofbox for the car and would be interested in your thoughts or advice on those? Thank you and your family for your vlogs. They are very helpful.

Hi Carol and glad we could help. As you start collecting the bits, unless you have a lorry or lol, a caravan to put them all in, a roof box will come in handy. But, no matter how much room you have, you will always find something to fill it up with? And we are thinking of a new polycotton tent for next year..maybe we will see some videos of yourselves putting that up? All tips welcome😁

Honestly, considering we haven't put a tent up for a very long time, we found our trial pitch up at home went very smoothly. Being an air tent helped a great deal. The tent itself goes up really quickly with most of our time then spent on pegging out and guylines. It was a doddle to take down and put back in the storage bag. It is quite bulky to store though and definitely needed two of us to carry it. 💪😄 It did fit into our Mazda CX5, along with all the other equipment very neatly though and still getting clearance for the rear view mirror. We're so glad we took the plunge and bought the tent. No looking back now! 😁

Hi, it is just a guess, unfortunately. We just ensure that, like all other inflatables, it is only about 90%. That way, there is room for expansion. Sorry, we can't be any more help..

Hi, with the Yawn Airbed you will need electric to inflate, but a powerstation with socket may well do. We have continued to use both beds and sofa for at least another 7-8 camping trips with no problems. Just remember never to fully inflate and leave some room for expansion if weather is warm..

Air bed....Alvayzaire is the way to go. Tops up air from build in pump during the night...silently....but expensive.

Hi, we have just bought this bed based on your recommendation. What do you use to connect the bed to pump it up? Do you have an adapter for the car? If so, what do you recommend please? TIA :)

Hi, the plug it comes with connects to a normal camping adaptor, which you would use to an electrical hookup. We are on our 5th trip with them now and can not fault them. Just be cautious that you do not inflate to 100%, only about 90%. If you fully inflate them so they are rock hard, you can end up damaging the valve. 👍

Just subscribed to the channel recently, what kW is the toolstation heater did you have any problems with tripping out. Thanks enjoying the videos bought a tent last year hopefully use it more this year 👍🏼

Hi, thank your for watching and subscribing, the toolstation heater is 2000KW. We did not have issues with anything tripping out. But, we also have an Oscilating Quest fan. They are about £30 at GoOutdoors and that one is better any other we tried. Enjoy your camping, it is great fun👍
