Needing a pump is not a negative. Should the pump fail, you can use another pump as opposed to throw away the matress.

I was thinking the same, but what if you could remove pump and replace that would be great.

Pretty sure you can still air it up with the built in pump being bad. Should have a hole next to the pump.

QUESTION: i went to AEROBED - WHERE TO BUY and i see amazon and bed & beyond i click in both sites and i see no product or they are out of stock where can i buy one?

I’m using an air bed for years now and have no issues at all. A normal mattress looses firmness extremely fast regardless the price. My air bed don’t. Active era has even multiple supportive areas like a mattress

If I ever got an air mattress it would definitely be for inside use. I am no camper - LOL! The Aerobed looks really cool to me. That secondary pump is a cool feature and I really like the headboard. Like Marten said, you won't loose your pillow over the side with the headboard.

Indeed, there is no better way to choose the one that would really serve its purpose. We have to remember whether we have that for our own comfort and luxury or the our guests who would stay in our home for a while. Again Bravo and Kudos to you Mattress Clarity! Would have loved to hear about weight maximums. My dad is about 250 and we can't seem to find something to hold up. I'm wondering if putting one mattress on top of another would help the situation? Or would we have to get the AeroBed, which continually adds more air throughout the night? HELP!

Intex won't last 6 months before they start coming apart. The vinyl is too thin and their welding process thins it out even more; then pin holes develop. The best thing about Intex is their built-in air pump.

I had the Intex air mattress for a long time, used often and 22" inch high made it easy for me to get up and out with my athritis... I would sleep on it if I had a guest and let them take my bed...... I gave it to a friend who lost her stuff in a fire, when I got another air mattress a few years later now, I got a Bestway... NEVER AGAIN EVER..... the pump motor went out after only 5 uses... and Bestway company wouldn't do anything, no warranty on quality, they didnt stand behind their work at all..... I was given the Aero bed comfort lock queen size(no headboard exactly the same otherwise) as a replacment since the one I owned under warranty they did not have anymore of.. it defintiyl feels like theres a leak possibily a seam leak I checked for a good 45mins but only felt slight air floow around some of the seams but I havent used the water and soap method yet so I cannot confirm. However the reason I know its leaking is well first off all it feels less inflated .. but If I turn the pump off... then back to the setting it was on it will inflate it properly... So it also seems the comfort lock pump does not work or is there something Im missing? The blue light is on .. its plugged in... etc etc any solutions?

I have major back problems. And I'm poor. Figured out sleeping on the floor rather than couch or cheap ass mattress was better. We had the durabeam with built in pump. After a month or two, it started to deform as pretty much every modern mattress does, to where it began to become uncomfortable. Then someone left it up against a baseboard heater, so we didn't need to worry about that anymore....😡😞
