Hi! Just found your channel through the April Fool's gag. Thanks for inspiring me to keep learning. I paused the video when you got stuck on 3, 8, 18, 38, and I tried it myself. The solution I found was 2(An)+2. Would that not be a valid and simpler solution?

For the question on the sequence 3, 8, 18, 38, ... My son came out with the formula an = a n-1 *2 + 2. That is The current term is the previous term times 2, then plus 2, which I tested is correct. Can you please tell me how is it so different from your formula and yet produced the same answer.

would it be possible that you get a question like the first one where the answer is 3/4 but it doesn't work out with the last number? basically, could it be part arithmetic AND geometric? would that be possible?
