This was the year where people agree with the juries to crown this song as song of the year. Her first debut really changed her game in the industry. People started to notice her in the industry without any controversy but only through her talent. Her angelic voice changed the perception of the music industry which was the era of Siti Nuharliza conquered everything and Misha Omar was the one who breaks the wall for every new artist to breath in the industry. I would say Malaysia is not really a big country and it is not big enough for people not to know such a good song basically every song competed in AJL most people will know that song even they dont really know the lyrics.. This is actually at the beginning of her career. She was around 20, 21 years old if I’m not mistaken, so technical wise she’s probably not that great because she’s still new. During the early years she’s known for her cheeky expressions, wild hand gestures and horse kicking-like movement. She’s outgrown that unfortunately haha. This song is her debut single and it was a massive hit. She has enjoyed such a long, successful career due to her talent, humbleness and hard work. She’s been consistent throughout these years, except for when she got married and have kids so she slowed down a bit but she always made a comeback.

another great reaction, Yazik. love it!! Misha Omar is one of the best singers in Malaysia. Bunga-bunga Cinta was her first debut, was and still popular till today. She won best vocal and overall best song in this AJL 18 (2003). To date, Misha won best vocal in AJL 3 times. Hafiz won 4 times, Dayang and Misha won 3 times. Ernie and Jaclyn Victor won 2 times. In AJL 16 (2001), Liza Hanim performed Andainya Aku Bersuara (which you have reacted before) and she did a very amazing vocal performance that night but she did not win anything. Also, there were some other singers who sang very well that night but did not win anything so the production team and judges introduced new category which is best vocal category for AJL in the following year. As expected , in AJL 17 (2002), Liza Hanim won best vocal award and the first singer to win that award through song Gelisah Mimpi.
