Sabah is a state of Malaysia situated in Boneo island we called it East Malaysia, Masha Milan is from Sabah. We have so many good and talented singers in Sabah, some of the singers featured in this video are Eylia Guntabid (female singers), Fanzi Ruzi (male singer). Both of them have their own channel. Eylia has won many singing competion like the WOPOA, and Star Voice Asia. Please check her out on the final of Starvoice Asia 7 which she won early this year.

This song is in conjunction with Malaysia's 65th independence day. Malaysia Bangga = Proud Malaysia. All singers are from Sabah, a Malaysian state in the Borneo island. The flags you see are Malaysian flag and Sabah flag.

All of them have VERY BEAUTIFUL VOICE! The singer in yellow hair, chubbier one and the guy with glass with mole on right cheek are amazing. I am a sabahan but I don't know them!

Wow! What a colorful vocal performance!👏👏👏I'm not surprised that they're good singers when they're from Sabah. FYI, this is a patriotic song..we just celebrated our 65th Independence/National Day on 31st August. So, in conjunction with this special day, we have been 'served' with patriotic songs & clips in our mass media since the last few weeks. Malaysia Bangga means Malaysia is proud. One of your Malaysian favourite singers, Aina Abdul also did a performance during the National Day celebration parade which was aired live..and Yazik, we look forward to welcoming you to Malaysia anytime!

Hi Yazik. Other than commenting on each singer's prowess. You make a beautiful summary at the end.. Love it. Earn a subscription. Your concern was on point, in regards of politics. I am really amaze for a person not from Sabah,Malaysia to have that awareness/thought. Anyway, it was started from the producer's grand idea to create collaboration with multiple singers, but of course as you said, it needs money or funding. Thus, gladly with discussion with government representatives, the current Sabah government had given some financial support for the production of the song. That's why there are some clips from the Government officials.. as a gratitude for the support to local singers' project. If all these Sabahan singers received the rightful support from the people.. be it government or non government organisations.. we can see how much greatness they can achieved..

I think it’s related to Sabahan independence or Malaysian formation of some sort. Sabah is one of the 4 founding members of the Federation of Malaysia alongside Malaya, Singapore, and Sarawak on the 16th of July, 1963. Singapore was later kicked out in 1965. Sabah and Sarawak, unlike the rest of the 11 states in Peninsular Malaysia, have some reserved autonomy. They’re much like the case of Scotland within the UK, except the separatist movement isn’t as big there as it is in Scotland.

Hello, I’m Sabahan, and I know this project and song, Malaysia Bangga, is literally written to commemorate the whole of Malaysia’s National Day on 31st AUG 1957 (whereby Sabah National Day is also coincidentally on 31st Aug 1963). Malaysia Day (formation day) is in SEPT, NOT July. 16th SEPT 1963. Even the title of this song is Malaysia Bangga (Proud Malaysia), not Sabah Bangga. Also, if you know about the recent Su lu issue, this song is a way for us Sabahans to say loud and clear, we Sabahans are Proud to be Malaysians and will always be with Malaysia. FYI, there’s NO separatist movement here in Sabah, please don’t go on spreading false information. This song says it all, Sabahans will always stand proud with Malaysia, forever.
