Its very commom in the US. Also: “Save The Date” “Engagement Photo shoot” “Engagement Party” “Wedding Registry” “Bridal Shower” “Bachelorette weekend””Bachelor Party”” Rehearsal Dinner” WEDDING. Reception. And (esp is it s “Destination Wedding”) Day After Brunch. Its A LOT. Fun tho. Also even tho zi didnt do sny of all that myself I LOVE WATCHING OUR FRIENDS HERE DOING IT🥰

weddings can have 100-300 people in attendance so the rehearsal is more for the close friends and family, more intimate a celebration

Based on what I've seen/heard, the wedding rehearsal is basically just a fancy-ish (in the US) last team meeting (but with only your closest friends and relatives) to go over the final plan for the wedding and it ends on a nice meal as a thank you for their help and support. I don't think it's a foreign concept in other countries; just that they don't usually make it as fancy and don't have a specific name for it. Like most of us would probably be more: "hey, we're gonna do a bbq at my parents' house to go over all the final details and to thank everyone for their help next week 2 days before the wedding, can you come?"

I just got married this past October and my biggest advice is be as present as you can be on the day!! It will go by so incredibly fast. Once we reached the rehearsal dinner I sort of dropped trying to micromanage stuff and just let myself be the bride! Sending so much love

Okay I enjoyed watching the Korean food more than the German. I may be biased cause I’m Asian but Korean fried chicken is 🔥🔥🤤🤤 Herbert’s so naughty with that mouth joke and how he didn’t want to go down that road, but he starts laughing thinking about it. That made me giggle! 🤭 And a tip about the wedding…I didn’t have a big one but keep hydrated. I didn’t eat before hand, and hardly drank anything either. I almost passed out during the ceremony. Sometimes nerves makes you not want to eat, but stay hydrated at least!! And have fun and ENJOY your wedding.

I would be so excited to attend a rehearsal with such a spread. Good choices! We did Italian food for our rehearsal and I was so bloated the next day. No regrets tho. Wedding day we had a brunch with a full breakfast and full lunch menu. I think food was our biggest priority and what I looked forward to the most. I made our wedding cake and it was maple pancake flavored for the brunch theme.

My advice is that this is very stressful and it is important that you turn toward each other instead of away from each other. Also, teasing and poking fun at each other may not be received well at this very moment. Just chill together without wedding talk when/if you can. The honeymoon, or whatever downtime you have planned, is such a relief afterward.

I think the reason Korean fried chicken is so good is because the batter/breading is so much better than American (which tastes good but gets soggy fast) is because it is so crispy and holds its crispiness for a long time!

Why do I always make the mistake of watching your food vids when I'm about to sleep and shouldn't eat? This food looks so delicious. I'm kind of in agreement with Herbert; the chicken is going to fill people up too much, too quickly, especially if you're including a lot of the German food I saw in the other video. Your rehearsal dinner is going to be decadent, but also Too Meaty Too Furious, LOL. Also, regarding a "wedding diet," let me tell you what one is; one where you eat whatever the hell you want, and are happy! Regarding Herbert's shirt and tie, perhaps it should harmonize with your other wedding colors? For example, let's say your other wedding color is green. His shirt and tie could be a particular shade of green that only he wears, and the rest are complementary to it.
