I'm Turkish and unfortunately I don't have Korean neighbors but I do know how to make kimchi because it's so delicious and also it's way cheaper to make it yourself since there is no Kmarts where I live

Love that they chose a recipe they were all blind to making and the parents were so brutal about it all in the most loving way. The mom gave strong points in the dishes she liked and the dad knew his kimchi very well and wasn't afraid to take jabs at what he felt was off, but in the end of the day knew the dish well enough to even pinpoint who he thought made it perfectly.
