As you maybe know, Tommy still plays in Sabaton, but he has leave for his own project. Erik has been the lead singer for Swedish H.e.a.t from 2010- 2020. CAROLUS REX is latin for "King Charles" or in swedish "Kung Karl". Karl is one of the most common names for our kings but the most famous was number 12. He was a skilled millitary and won lots of lands and was the start of a great time for Sweden. Nowday often used for right-wing politics. When Sabaton first performed the song, many (mainly the left side) who knew nothing about them were very upset because Karl XII is a politically charged personality. Sabbaton were called racists - only because they wrote about one of the most powerful kings we ever had.
