I like the machine because it is simple and well-built. Commercial mowers that have simple designs have low cost repairs. True professionals only need one speed. 1.Go Get It

I've owned this mower for one season now, i agree built like a tank, bullet proof transmission, I'd still be using this machine if it weren't for one thing, the cut it leaves, I feel it leaves a very bad uneven cut with many "stragglers" left behind, I felt it was necessary to stay one the first speed and double cut, just was not impressed with the cut? I purchased the turfmaster later on in the season and the cut is far cleaner to that of the yabravo

Holy crap!!!! I have an old manual push Honda (90's era) that has the same sloped deck as the y bravo. This is an old school Honda deck design. My oldest kid mows our yard with it( she mowed 1/2 an acre in the front, my guys mow the rest). She'll will start the big commercial mowers soon but it's a teaching moment.

It's really a shame that John Deere discontinued production of their 21 inch JX85, JX75, 14SX, 14SB mowers. They had strong construction with long lasting parts, especially the venerable Kawasaki FC150V engine, ergonomically sound, and simple to maintain. I have had 3 14SB models, 1989, 1990, and 1992 models respectively. I still have and run the 1990 and 1992, both with 5 hp engines. Only change was the 1990's original 4.5 hp engine was swapped from a donor machine after the original began burning oil to the point that I had to fill it after roughly 2 weeks of mowing and its exhaust was nauseating. The silver and green deck Deere's were ahead of their time. I know another fellow lawn care company that still uses their JX75's everyday after 3 of their Honda's blew engines.

Hey, great camera, and video work. What equipment do you use? FYI, I picked up a Honda HRC 216 last friday for my Dad's 1 acre lawn. Great mower! We only do Design / Build now, but we did maintenance from 93 to 2003, so I consider getting back into it.

Just got the gen2 in 21" without the blade break and really like it so far. I use it as complement to my riding movers. Most of the grass is a thick bladed variety and the terrain is very rough. If you need a tank, this might be a good mower for you to consider.

My issue using the Ybravo 21" for the past 2 years has been the plastic flaps on the stock OEM blade coming loose causing it to shake and ultimately not have as good of an uplift to bag. This could be remedied with an aftermarket high-lift blade but those are so sparse since Ybravo is a smaller brand. Speaking about the bag being packed like crazy, which is a good thing in my opinion... The flap is super irritating trying to battle it to get the bag back on the mower after the fact, especially when I'm in a hurry to get more lawns done. I've never had issues like that with a Toro Recycler or Honda HRX. This is all coming from another Sequimite :) Hope you're doing well my man.

I have a 31” I’d give you! Within a few weeks the paint started coming off the handle. The cheap crash bar up front is just that cheap. The rear end issues were overwhelming, after many complaints the factory agreed they had some units go out incorrectly. The front adjustment settings are junk within 3 months we had to utilize bungi cords to keep the height the same. It is heavy mower no doubt if you were paying by the pound it’s a good buy, but bottom line nothing has performed to the Honda consistency and cost of ownership. The bagger well, set time aside struggling to get the grass out, the grass just doesn’t want to come out of the opening, had to pull it out by hand most frequently. The pros, good cut does great on fescue! They have good wheels, the Subaru engine worked very good unless the dust from dry lawns got near the carb and it made us manually close off the engine at the carb... i felt like I got a bad mower, and the factory guy would not take it back...

I had the ybravo 25 as well. I as well didn’t like the speed setting location and I did have tranny problems after about a month mowing hills constantly. I do love the cables are all inside the bars and not exposed to hitting things and causing some to come lose or broken. Overall after a few months I wasn’t greatly impressed but do think they have a great design. I prefer to stick to my Honda’s and my weibang mower.

I've bought 4 toro 30" , 2 exmark 30" and the new Xmark ( kohler engine) . Of all the mowers, the exmarks have had no big problems. No transmission problems despite it not being the new heavy duty tranny. That being said shrinking down crews, I roll around with two walkers 36" 19c, and t25i 42". So minimal use of the mowers lately.

Funny story. I guess YBravos 25 inch mower is almost like a 30 mower. But I perfer the Exmark 30 and Toro 30 Turf Master. Scag is even introducing the 30 in their mower fleet. Many of my clients have backyards with fences and small gates. I can even fit my 30s in there. On big yards like my yard for example theres a couple tight spots that I use it on so that way I have less time weed eating and trimming. YBravo did an ok job on the 25

I had an Xmark 26" walk behind many years ago. The engine was great (I think it was a Kawi FJ also) and the transmission was... okay. The mower was heavy tho and the single blade made a pretty bad cut. It was very prone to scalping. Looking at this mower makes me think of that old mower

FYI the 30-inch commercials are under 2, 000 not over. the only problem I have with any of these mowers is where I am going to use a push mower is going to be a hillside or just a very tight area in which case weight is extremely important and anything in a hundred pounds plus is just too much

I had the Ybravo Gen 2 for about a year and just sold it. Speed is great but cut quality is sorry. Did good in thin grass but if the gras was thick or wet it bogged down and uneven cut. We only use the commercial Honda’s now. They are much better!

The Landscape Lounge, on our GENII mowers we now run the cables through a weave bracket system to keep them hidden. This allows for a much easier task when changing out the cables. We still accomplish our goal of keeping those cables hidden, so all in all its still a win
