Love your point! The answer would be always : Don't do Zombie Scrum! Thanks ;)

Great thoughts.. But how often should refinement happen and when should it happen. Looking forward to your response

Right now my team's backlog really needs to be cleaned up. The way we handle this is this: the PO and SM (me) will sit down and Close PBIs that are not needed anymore (~30 closed last session :) ). If we can, we will write down acceptance criterias. Some PBIs will be harder to pin down and we save those for later to a shorter meeting with the devs.

@@AgileforHumans what does this mean, is it an anti pattern?

why is it that theory is different than practically doing scrum, i find answers from experts to be different than scrum guide, if in interview I answer according to scrum guide i may fail, so practically in scrum everything just “depends and varies as per the need”

Great episode. And I don't know why it popped up when I saw your new episode today in June. It's coincident or on purpose by youtube :-). ... And Mr. 'Beard Todd' does not have beard? lol...look 5 years younger lol... I did ask the similar question about Who is accountable for PB Refinement? PO or ST. I think there is nobody who is accountable after watching the Episode. "Do what makes sense", right? --Junlong.

Not sure what was sadder this week, the Bears, the Colts, or Todd losing his train of thought 💭 😂

I guess at least the product owner should attend since he owns the product backlog ? other than that from the developers then as you said a cross function representation. Am i right ?

Depends; for example the how part of the PB is for the team, so in can be worked out without the PO
