I don’t think it’s a problem in this era you are getting a M car with a manual gearbox who would even go for a automatic transmission and that too will be a torque converter not a dual clutch as seen with this similar engine in M3,M4

Well the thing is in US 98% vehicles are automatic from small cars to large truck cabs everything, they don't prefer manual cars, manual cars are more like "Anti theft system" in US cuz no one knows how to drive one. And also manual cars have more than 6 months of waiting time and even despite of waiting you have to pay more to get it that's why manual is died in US but legendary people in other countries can keep it alive.
