I wish the styling was a bit more aggressive on the Turbo model. It doesn't look special enough to justify the price IMO, but it's got that cool Q-car vibe. Side note - If we're really talking about an Aston Martin killer... I always wanted Porsche to make a two-door coupe on the Panamera/Bentley Conti/RS7 platform; Way more aggressive, sexy, sporty, wide-body styling with more luxury, space and practicality than the 911... Like a new 948 I guess? I think the Porsche range needs that car to complete it and fill that gap for folks who need a bigger car than a 911, but don't want an 'understated family car' with 4 doors. Obviously they won't make it because it would cannibalise 911 sales (possibly even Bentley Conti sales) and big coupes don't sell like they used to, but it would be my perfect car!

I understand but also disagree (not with the 2 door version though, I like that) Porsche, for the most part has always been a understated brand except for the GT Models. I for my part prefer it for a daily drive because it is so under the radar, nobody would ever expect this thing to go 300kp/h+ und the Autobahn.

Porsche Panamera is such an underrated super saloon, my choice over E class, 5 series, or Audi A6. Too bad they cancelled estate version but still love the update they did. And this spec with green and bronze wheels is just perfection ❤❤❤. Rory great video keep it up 🤟🤟😍

To be fair and honest, the 'estate' version wasn't really comparable to an E-class wagon or Audi A6 Avant. Gran Turismo was the correct nomenclature and it was my favourite Panamera shape.

I think calling any Porsche an Aston killer is a bit wrong... Porsche have ALLWAYS made the better car, but , put it this way: Noone "likes" Aston, they ADORE them, and how good the car is never really comes into it, they're just beyond anything else. Brain says Porsche, Heart says Aston, and the heart isn't so easily swained....

If you look on autotrader at all used Porsches from 2020 and newer you’ll find that the cheapest cars are diesel macans and the taycan. A 4 year old panamera vs a 4 year old taycan. Which would you choose.

The issue I have with the Panamera (and any Porsche, to be fair) is just that... well... it's just a Porsche. They're not "special" anymore. You see them everywhere, and the number of them for sale on AT is more than some other mainstream cars. And the killer is that they're nowhere near as reliable as many journalists claim them to be. I think if you want something special then you _do_ need to get an Aston, Ferrari, Lambo etc. Not a Porsche.

PS and horsepower are essentially the same. Both are units of power used to measure the rate at which work is done. * PS is a metric unit of power, commonly used in Europe, that translates to "horsepower" in German. * Horsepower is an imperial unit of power, often used in the United States and the United Kingdom. While there's a slight difference in their exact values (1 PS is approximately 0.9863 horsepower), for most practical purposes, they can be considered interchangeable. So, if you see a car advertised as having 150 PS, it's essentially the same as saying it has 148 horsepower.

Its the same measurment with different units. PS Is PferdStarke which Is the metric measurment. HP Is the imperial measurment. They are pretty similar in value, never really being more Than 10 apart. For example the McLaren 720S has 710 horsepower which Is 720 PS and thats where It got its name. If you want the most accurate value Stick with Kw

Oh yes, let's all go stealthy like with the F80. I may as well buy a much cheaper Ford Mach-e (which I have) and it has such a nice interior and costs probably 6 times less than this Panamera. Anything goes wrong after a few years? write it off & get a new one. The speed is not insane but is very much sports car like. I urge everyone to try one at least on a test drive. And put it on sports mode, please.
