You have to give YHM writers props, they were writing a normal show with a normal storyline, focusing on Raman Ishita and Ruhi and their relationship and while that relationship was the focus throughout, and is easily the best thing about the show too, all that sweetness was too much to digest for Balaji writers who were itching to come out. And boy oh boy did they, that too in spades after 400 episodes. 🤣 this scene, the bomb on bus scene where Ishita miscarries, the Ishita on arthi scene after the leap, the terrorist putting a bomb on Ruhi scene, Adi blowing up the house and the earthquake sequence to name a few. And I haven't even touched on any of the crap after the leap🤣 Waah Balaji waahhh!!! No wonder it was such a long and successful show, har hafte toh naya tamasha ready.🤣 As Raman's dad puts it in an episode, har waqt tamasha tamasha, that too for 6 years non stop. 🤣 All her other shows are dramatic with subtle moments of relationships, love stories and family bonding. YHM is heavy on the latter and less dramatic, but when the writers are in the mood, they can put all of her K shows to shame with the drama🤣🤣🤣

@Queen_Of_Heart8 there's definitely a shift in the tone of the show, but if i'm being very honest, the heavy drama was what pulled me back. I tried yhm once before but it was just too simple and sweet to click at that point. (I'd seen most of it pre leap when it aired, but i stopped watching at the bhoot track) I happened to watch a scene post leap few months back, which was just super high on the drama factor and got sucked in again 🤣🤣🤣 The shift is done in a subtle enough manner imo so they don't look like two separate shows. Likewise certain events are so big in this show that the change in tone just makes a lot of sense..
