I think it's because I made him do one more trick just before landing on the other side of the pool ramp, which failed miserably, and the momentum was enough to get him up the other ramp and fall back into the pool.

As far as I can remember... playing it on the Brazilian cartoon network website, only had 6 moves: z,x,c base ones and 3 from the ctrl or shift i cant remember... is there a chance that they released different versions for different countries?

There was an enhanced version of it released through a shortlived service Cartoon Network did in the US (I think) called Power Play.

Power Play was Cartoon Network trying to compete with Nickelodeon's Nick Arcade service. They offered original games, and some enhanced versions of games which were previously browser-based, as downloadable games you had to purchase. I think prices varied, but the more elaborate games costed 20 bucks, at most. I think.
