No, the anime was okay. But thats becuase of pacing issues and not wanting to compress the entire thing too much. It was really pretty, faithful to the manhwa, but the early part of the manhwa are fairly slow and not as 'exciting'

I wouldn't be surprised if the 6-18 month release might be on the card since the hype for this anime is substantial enough that the studio release a teaser for the second season (second cour) right after the end of season 1 which mean at the very least we should expect winter 2024 for the earliest time and winter 2025 at the latest for us to see season 2, personally however I think between winter 2024 and spring 2025 is probably when we see the next season

The real reason solo leveling is so hyped to people originally stems back to how Sword Art Online left the online world too quickly. People demanded and were eager to watch more of Kirito but sadly it didn’t matter as SAO started to declined. So when a black haired guy who wields a sword in a game that if you die u also die in real life and the only chance to survive is get stronger was animated, people loved it immediately.

I don't think thats it, Solo Leveling didn't blow up because of the anime, it was because of the Manwha, and the reason that blew up was because of the art and the fact that this is one of the very few times where a "MC becomes OP" was focused soley on the character and his growth, and not side characters and side stories.(Overlord,Reincarnated as a slime, ETC) not that they're bad, they're just more common in that genre

And made his own guild called Dark Shadow... And has 50 million shadows but only uses 20 million and keeps the rest hidden... And he's the top 1 national level hunter... And Bellion and Igris, Beru,Diablo can solo national level hunters so I made them too OP and Jinwoo guild has all national level hunters and the building costing... Um 250 billion and Jinwoo is too powerful.. That he can solo all modern monarchs... God.. And all guilds fear him... Since Jinwoo now level 275 after his age is 29 his mana points has sky rocketed to over 10 billion! And the shadow soldiers become A-Ranked and I forgot about Tusk since I didn't put him in the story... But God Jinwoo still loves Cha-Hae and doesn't go to dungeons and spend time with her...and Jinwoo gains Shadow Enhancement which is able to enhance the skills of his shadows making IT SO UNDERRATED...
