You either pop flares then instantly change directions or if it's rear aspect, you can use the flare flower technique, it works most times especially at range

Some guy in a tornado shoots a 9L at a friendly who's like 40 degrees off my left, I flare and the thing acquires me front aspect like a 9M, even though i flared....

the f-15 is a monster, the problem is that most aircraft have the irccm missile research in first or second level but the F15A has to cope with aim9ls til you researched everything. Problem is not every F-15A is in stock grind and they will kill four people a game.

Wait wait wait, you need to keep the aim7f locked onto a target the entire time till it hits? I thought it was a fire and forget missile. I was wondering why i never get a kill with them, hence why i didnt believe it should be moved to 12.7 plus no HMD What I mean by fire and forget, I mean I lock on to them via radar, fire the missile, then just either unlock and keep going on my day or lock on to the next target.

brother , read the stat card lol , only aim54 can work like that in the entire game , but just wait for a few weeks (we will probably get the next update within 20-30 days) the next update will bring us aim120 , which will replace your sparrows and will be fire and forget missiles , but the missile is completely fire and forget only under 18km ish range , beyond that you still need to guide it via tws or a lock.. other tt will get r77 , mica , pl12

Playing MiG-23ML I can say that among 11.7+ jets the F-15 is the second easiest to kill after F-14. It has to go down in BR.
