He definitely has great taste in music. Most people's musical taste stops developing at 30ish. People like Dave are perpetually hip to new tunes. Unfortunately, culture seemed to end right around the time of this airing originally. I mean it's 2021, and this looks and sounds like it's brand new. I blame Instagram, musicians just wank about on there instead of starting bands it seems like.

I was in my early teens when I first saw them on BBC's "Later...with Jools Holland" I instantly fell in love with Karen, she hasn't changed a bit. I can't think of another lead singer in any band that compares to her.

I like that Karen is always laughing and smiling (maybe at herself, maybe at the music). It offsets the general glominess surrounding the two boys in the band. It really fits in oddly well in the "Turn Into" video. Love this band.

I love this song, I play it all the time. My 3- yr old nephew loves it, too. But, being 3, sees it a different way. He thought it was talking about a doggie, "down boy". He says "Hey Jessica, why is she singing about the doggie? I don't know, but I like the song." I was laughing, I hadn't thought of that. I told him "It's ok, you can think of it however you like, as long as you like the song." "Yeah, I like it, it's awesome." Lol, I'll explain it later. There's hope in music taste for the kid.

This is objectively incredible. imo....IS IS _is_ their best album....it's a short lil thing....but it's ALL perfect. This song isn't even my favorite from that EP, but it's perfect. me too, and have you ever sung in a gig that loud, typeanoise? considering she's not using an in-ear monitoring system- which is what's basically used in studio so you can hear yourself, it isnt the easiest thing, and does not mean her voice is 'overproduced. its hard to do when you cant hear yourself very well.
