It’s not a confirm, but it does work well if the opponent doesn’t airdodge.

Started maining zss a month ago and just stumbled across your awesome channel. I have to ask, do you think notches in the GameCube controller help with flip kick or not really. I currently use a pro controller and find myself occasionally SDing. Subbed btw.

I’m not sure, but I think probably not. I used GC for Smash 4 and Pro for Ult and don’t really feel a difference.

So i kinda decided to make Zss my second rather than my actual main and 1 quick question. WHY DO I GET MORE RESULTS THIS WAY?. So i have stopped practicing only zss and for some reason i can now just ladder. I got my mario up to date and went on to main cloud. And for some reason i can now ladder which i couldn’t before.

Mann. I have made so much strides with my zss gameplay and yet I watch this and just can't help but feel so damn disappointed in myself. I'm definitely not at this level and it's just frustrating with the amount of time I've spent training that I haven't seen improvements of this caliber.

I had a similar crisis myself recently after being bopped by a much better ZSS. If I may: Firstly, this video is for fun and combo videos don’t give any real indication of how good someone is. Secondly, you are always improving, but you may not feel like it because most other people are too. Most importantly (and I need to work real hard on this myself) is not to attach any self worth to your ability. This is real tough when you enjoy the game a lot, I know. But think about how you feel about people who are less good than you at the game. Do you think them “inferior”? My guess is not. And nobody thinks that about you either.

And no I definitely don't look at people who are worse at the game than me as "inferior", I respect everyone trying to get better and I know what it feels like to be looked down upon. I see your point and it makes sense. It's just difficult not to be down on myself and not to be frustrated with my slow improvements. But I guess there's nothing I can do besides keep grinding & change my mentality.

I don't have trouble with pika while playing as ZSS, pika is like combo food (to me) but pichu on the other hand. Yea I'm screwed😨
