I really hesitated on clicking this because most smash guides with fewer than 1000 views are actual trash lol. Thankfully I went ahead and decided to give it a chance and I'm really happy I did! Down Throw isn't so bad I found it allowed me to keep my opponents right above me where I wanted them

@@100CherryJuice you don't want to stale your kill throw and down throw keeps them closer to you allowing you to keep the pressure better The further away you toss them the more breathing room they have allowing them to escape your pressure game and giving them more landing options

@@c2ironfist That's an incredibly poor excuse. With that logic, any mediocre throw isn't "that bad" because you can use it instead of the other superior ones lol. Zss still has a plethora of options with her front and back throws not just up. If you somehow spoil the other 3 then you need help.

The most reliable way to follow up on down throw is into forward air. It has some really tight timing though so yeah I can see why you think it's bad.

An excellent beginners guide. I really like how you showed each move's frame data and then connected that to the strengths and weaknesses of that move. It helped me properly understand why n-air is a good pressure tool and why side-b or neutral-b is not. It really helped me understand ZSS' neutral game which is the hardest part for me to understand.

I love this guide so much, I learned a lot. I didn't know flip kick direction could be changed.. I've died so many times due to not facing the "right way" when using it after being sent off the stage I also didn't remember zair and I was using side special to grab ledge which was so slow, now it makes sense. I still like her but how is she more hype? They removed a lot of cool combos and nerfed her edgeguard capacity with the side B tether nerf. She got some minor buffs like side B killing, but almost every change was a nerf

@@deviantnia off a grab when she has high percent/rage she could chain up airs into up b which would fail to link into the final kick finisher and send them straight up into the blastzone which would kill at insanely low percents

I was looking to relearn how to play ZSS and unlearn the Smash 4 play style, since that was going alright but not as well as it used to. So I looked at this because I'm not really a frames player. I try to learn but most guides to me don't seem to explain that too well to someone who isn't too savvy with them. This guide gave me something to start with, and I'm already getting a better handle of her. When I try other guides that offer more technical stuff (when I am able to get a good grasp of frames) then I feel this and another guide would get me into the swing of things.

I was honestly hesitant to click on this video since so many people have been jumping on the SSBU bandwagon and pumping out any "Beginner SSBU guide" they can think of for views. However, i'm really glad i did select this video! As someone fairly new to the series i found this surprisingly more comprehensive and easy to follow than i expected. Lots of simple concepts that aren't just "do this or do that" and are more "This is the kind of thing you want to go for but it doesn't mean you have to." Only thing i would say is your voice is a bit quiet compared to the gameplay but other than that, great job! I'm excited for what comes next!

I already main Normal Samus, and now that ZSS got a new more buff model Im seriously thinking on maining her as well, this video was a nice introduction to the basics of the character.
