War dies in den 70er, 80er, 90er eine schöne Zeit! Alte und junge schwarze und weiße Männer und Frauen haben zusammen gefeiert und sich respektiert. Nicht nur auf Partys - auch im Alltag. Ich habe es damals als Jugendlicher live erlebt! Wie geil war es in „Neger-Discos“ zu sein. Keiner dieser „Schwarzen GI‘s“ war anders als wir weißen Jungs. Wir freuten uns wenn wir rein durften (in die US-Disco, Einlasskontrolle ;-) und mit ihnen zusammen nach den „Motown-Songs“ zu tanzen. Es gab noch keine „Religiöse“-GRÜNE- Ideologie -Politik die unser Land heute spaltet. Unserer Jugend würde ich diese Freiheit von damals wünschen!

Eu daqui do Rio de Janeiro capital, Brasil, hoje com 64, não tem como não se emocionar, ver esse vídeo, hoje 30/06/2024, como queria estar aí para participar e ser mais 1 jovem nessa plateia linda dos anos 60, 70, 80, juntamente com os de hoje curtindo essas músicas, vendo-os cantar e dançar, não tem como não se alegrar, se emocionar e sentir aquele aperto no peito, aquela pequena falta de ar, fantásticos todos vocês. This is the exact same music I danced to at the height of the disco era. It was great dance music. I used to do the HUSTLE" to these songs in the seventies. Beautiful dance era. I miss those times. I'm 62 now and I have nothing but great memories. If only..........

Great to hear this medley of hits far better than modern stuff ,sadly quite a lot of the original Trammps are no longer with us,and Earl young was not present and Jimmy Ellis always lead vocal sadly passed away taking his unique voice .But we still have his music and it will become timeless .the guy on lead is good but i guess Jimmy Ellis had a distinctive and unique. strong voice
