If the vocalist has no breath control, a thin tone because they have no control over "head voice" and "chest voice," bad timing over all(which they can have with 0 latency signal), and bad pitch - then theyre not going to sound "great." Vocals are multifactored just like most things in life.

He can open his recording software and have his vocals sound the exact same every time because he saved the settings of those effects. And he can edit/tweak the settings of the effects after or while he’s recording.
