Ro RhoRowurboat Hi! So actually she wrote the song a week before her mom passed away from suicide and her mom and best friend were actually the first ones to hear the song. Her song “Evergreen” was written as a tribute to her mom...video actually sang in her home church in Arkansas. Yet another beautiful song! YEBBA’s vocals are amazing! She totally deserved the Grammy she won! Hopes this was helpful! :)

All the way over here in the UK, it’s past midnight and I’m in my bed listening to this for about the eighth time. I was doing okay until you said “Somebody hurt that girl” and that was it, the tears fell. And fell every damn time I watched it. There’s something magical about this performance. So raw and powerful. This must resonate with everybody who’s been cheated on (yes, me included). Stunning.
