So glad you did this! I *love* your reactions to her, and i was really hoping you’d do this one She’s a f***ing force. So unbelievable technically, but I never feel like the goal is just ‘watch me be impressive’ it always feels like she’s following what she feels and hears in the song, and these runs & textures are just the paths that open up for her when she does that. I really feel things when she sings, every time. The Background is a three part harmony with Yebba, they phrase it as one chord, kind of like how Lalah Hathaway did with "Something" but in reverse, taking one phrase projecting it as a three chord harmony from one vocalist.

Hey man.. um trying to paint a picture. Because I feel your emotion on this.. because I have it. I'm a strong, construction worker that can get goosebumps from this AND death metal. Idk what's wrong with me. I grew up with r&b and soul influences and graduated to some metal in my adulthood. Its crazy to me on the range I have personally. Yebba is an amazing artist man. I get close to the same energy from Whitechapel "I will find you" . If you are interested. I mean... I sang some Usher "gotta let it burn" as the lead singer...with my black friends in 6th grade talent show, I had on platinum fubu. AND... I love death metal. I dont know if you can feel me 🤣🤣
