Chan wrote this about his own experiences. His story is so heart wrenching. He left everything at 13 in Australia & went to Korea alone. He was basically alone for 6 years till he met Han. 😢 I remember him mentioning being literally alone in the dorms one year when everyone got cut from JYP & he was literally the only 1 left. Can you imagine being a young kid alone in a massive empty dorm. All his friends had debuted, & everyone else was cut. He made a decision never to get close to anyone again and ended up in a really dark place. He's made more than one reference to his mental health suffering during this time. Luckily he met Han & Changbin to form 3RACHA then later the rest of the boys & he said they saved him. 😢😭😭😭 He's literally a walking miracle. ❤❤❤❤ (Hence the levitation or ascending visual) He is so incredibly strong to overcome all he did. Knowing this made this song hit so hard.😢

Don't ask me why but from the first time and every time I listen to it again, this song gives me chills, my eyes get wet and I want to scream. I don't know why but this song is spectacular and it generates things in me that I can't explain. StrayKids + LISA are the best!

😂 I dont think they used a filter or anything special on the opening shot of Felix's face. Other than the fire in his eyes, it's truly just a low-light close-up of our dear Felix. At least to me, he looks exactly as he always does, freckles and everything. In fact, I would argue that they were literally going for the truly natural him... because he actually has his freckles, and there's absolutely no whitewashing pr attempt to lighten his complexion. If anything, the low light makes him even darker. And no contacts either, because outside of the flames, they kept his eyes natural. ( i robt know if you ever noticed, but all of these things are not only prevalent in K-pop, but they are decidedly done FAR MORE often in Japan. In fact, long after Stray Kids became MASSIVE worldwide. Therefore becoming big enough to be able to make waves in K-pop for their heavy refusal of beauty standards controlling them. They still didn't yet have that power in the Japanese market, so they still had to deal with such bs. Prime example would be their promotions, concept shots and inclusions for their 'Circus' mini album. Han and Felix were BOTH heavily whitewashed, Felix had his freckles completely removed, and unlike their Korean comebacks where only a couple of them will do either dark or light blue contacts here and there, if they want to and can, that is. (Some of them have done so, only to have all of the concept photos they had taken look like they had been crying. Their eyes are iust too sensitive for such things.) However with the Japanese comeback, they were basically all given color 'correcting' cotacts, everything from the complete switch up to blue, and even green... to just enough of an alteration that they no longer had "brown eyes"... in other words, by adding a cast of green and/or yellow. Which is silly since some of the members actually do have hazel eyes already. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Japan. I get it, besuty standards are what they are. I'm just saying I'm super proud of the fact that our SKZ are finally do massive IN JAPAN that they no longer have to follow beauty trends, and are instead now responsible for settting and/or changing them. Even in a foreign country, specially one that (very much like the USA) is rather segregated when it comes to their music industry, language preferences, and definitely their beauty standards. You know, basically saying, "Our music is the best music! or "Our language dhould be the only language spoken here!", and of course,"What we think is beautiful or not, IS what's beautiful or NOT." Simply put, with great power, such as being 2 of the biggest and more powerful countries in the world in every way, including in terms of music, entertainment, and culture... they kinda become like people whom you have given too much control to. Lol... They tend to govon a bit of a power trip. So honestly, the fsct that atrayxoids are so incredibly huge now, specially in Japan, that they are able not only have their Japanese MV of all things, go right to the top of the trending list the day of it's release! Haha! 😂 But also have the opening scene of said Mv be a shot of a very natural Felix in all all his full frecked and all-natural toned glory. Is INDEED a truly amazing accomplishment. One that I am incredibly proud of them having earned, not to mention having decided to use as a platform in such manner. Specially in such a subtle manner. Anyways! Sorry for the insanely long tangent! 😊 My point was SUPPOSED to have been white simple. I am rather positive that they didn't use any filter on Felix to make him appear as if hes a drawing... Felix naturally just happens to look like a drawing!! I swear, all of DanceRacha are basically inhuman in the level of their beauty. Come to think of it, this reminds me a whole lot of the time that Hyunjin started up a livestream, and then he began attempting to remove the filter that was making him look so glowy and ethereal... only to realize that he didn't have any of the filters set, become hilariously and adorably embarrassed, and of course go down in history as an iconic meme. Ugh, Stray Kids... they are ALL so damn pretty.

I enjoyed your reaction and agree the musical range of this group is outstanding from the beautiful falsettos, spine-tingling bass tones, rough/smooth rap, strong clear clean all round musical quality of these artists in whatever genre they happen to be singing in at the moment. I have been impressed with LiSA vocals since the Sword Art Online series and Demon Slayer. I cannot wait to see the dance practice also. STAY Aiana shared some interesting thoughts on the "paper bag heads": If you pay attention to the lyrics ("I'm tossing, turning in my bed. The voices in my head again"; "Evil thoughts taking over, I'm let it go"), you'll see that, even though the paper bag people can be the ones on the internet, being judgmental and aggressive or something like that. It's more possible than not, that these "people" are actually their intrusive thoughts saying they're not good enough. Since these lyrics is heavily based on Chan's experience as a trainee for 7 years, so LiSA could represents someone way more seasoned that has passed through it all already and not only survived, but thrived. - So let's go to the signs: - ❗. Ideas, creativity (but on an overwhelmingly level) - ❓. Doubts and not believing in yourself - ➕. Trying to see the bright light and staying positive. - ➖. All the depressive and negative thoughts, wanting to give up. Throughout the MV, Chan is the one that is constantly chased, suffocated & being captive by the creatures. The other ones are haunted by them, but none as heavily as him. At the end we see Lee Know, Changbin leading the others, all fighting the bad paper bag creatures (evil thoughts), tearing through the wall, before they finally reunited. This could represents how Stray Kids (the members) saved Chan. Always together. I am always impressed by word play in lyrics and they are using visual imageries to do the same. As we all know that Chan has fought hard to keep his members safe and together, time and time again, even taking hits himself but we see how they equally would charge in to save and protect him also
