First pistol I ever bought was the C9. $177. Just turned 21 and figured "Well, time to start to know about these things" Big, bulky, low magazine capacity, heavy and fairly accurate. I liked it. Only put 150 rounds through it over the course of 6 months (I didn't have a penny back then) I'm self taught on pistols and firearms in general and it all started with this pistol right here 11 years ago.

Wow, that’s awesome! My first handgun I bought for myself was a Taurus Tracker 44 Magnum on 11/04/2008. Needed something for defense from Hogs, etc on our deer lease at the time. Man they had some huge hogs out there, and a ton of them too. Felt much better walking through the woods in the middle of the night with that on my hip! Love that gun, still carry it to this day every time I’m in the woods. Have a pretty cool Short coming out in the next few days featuring that very revolver…. Thanks for watching!👍😁

Remember: For every derogatory comment about HiPoint firearms there's an Englishman who wishes he could own one. 🤔 BTW: HiPoint firearms are inexpensive enough that you can hide one in the barn or the outhouse, and just leave it there (for emergencies)

About the cheapest I can find a Hi-Point c9 is about $125 you can find the Taurus G3C 9mm for about $100 more but you will get a better firearm with that being said you can probably find a used Taurus G3C $20 or $40 more and I even seen the new stoeger 9mm running for 249 with a $50 rebate bringing it to 199

good review. I had recently just bought a C9. I had issues with failure to feed and eject. Not every round. But as the day progressed it started functioning okay. I think it wasn't broken in even though it was used. but I'll see the next therapy session
@TNTOutdoors4U

Thank you! “Therapy session” 😂👍 Yeah, with the price of ammo, even used firearms might not be very broken in. I know I can’t afford as much “therapy” as I’d like… What ammo were you using? The Hornady FTX was really the only round that gave me issues, but after a good cleaning/oiling it seemed to function ok. I’m still not gonna rely on FTX and carry loaded with them because I’ve heard of others who’ve had problems with it, and I’ve had issues with some of Hornady’s other “fancy bullets”, specifically the LEVERevolution rounds… Thanks for Watching!! And YT notified me you subbed too, that’s awesome! Thank you! Welcome aboard!!!👍😁

There was a gunsmith on here, years ago who stated the feeding/ejection issues are due to the spring inside the magazine. He replaced the factory spring with a Glock spring and then it performed flawlessly.

Ive owned several C9s over the years, and one Highpoint .45. They all worked and functioned perfect. I wound up selling or trading them and now I think Id still like another one, but, for about $40.00 more I can buy a new Taurus G2C, much better, lighter, higher capacity, and on and on...I have several of those too and mine have been excellent. I think I want a Highpoint because they are ugly, feels like a brick duct taped to a piece of broomstick, people make fun of them, but they work! 😅

Thank you!! No matter what I’m testing/reviewing, I really try to show it in action and/or show actual results. I’m just an average guy and I try to make videos how I would like to see them if I was searching for more info about whatever the subject is. I figure anyone can look up the “technical specs”, but what I really want to see is how the product functions in a real-life scenario. If you’d have told me 2 years ago that I’d be a “KZbinr”, I would have told you that you were crazy! However, I was searching for videos on a night vision device I saw at Walmart. None of the videos showed the thing actually being used in total darkness (instead there were street lights etc.) and most of the videos didn’t even show any footage from this night vision monocular/camera at all! I decided to buy it anyway, and was so surprised when I actually discovered that it worked pretty good. I thought why didn’t anyone show it actually working in pitch black darkness?! Then I thought, “maybe I could just make a video about it so someone else like me could actually see how it works!” So I did, it was our first video on the channel! I didn’t anticipate that making these videos would be so much fun to do, and additionally it feels really good to help provide more information to people! Not gonna lie though, this “hobby” has gotten pretty expensive and is very time consuming - it is a lot of work putting out videos with a full time job, family responsibilities, etc. I can’t tell you how much your comment means to me - thank you! It’s comments like this that make all the hard work totally worth it!! Thank you for watching! And thank you for subscribing, it’s an honor to have you aboard!!! 👍😁

Nothing wrong with a Hi-point most shame should come from gun snobs. I was told when was in police academy never buy a carry gun cost money. Often in a shoot those guns are confiscated, and can take over a year to get back. So in that time you're out that gun while it gets beat up in evidence locker. Sometimes even destroyed by accident.

Well, I like mine, and I’m really not ashamed, I was just kidding… I really DGAF about stuff like that. @@TNTOutdoors4U yeah even if shoot was found to be in self defense .....your gun can be tied up for years in states evidence in case of possible civil suits. Yes, your suspect you shot and family can hold you responsible for their death or impairment. And can potentially recover money.

@TNTOutdoors4U

Yeah, even though it seemed to function well once I cleaned/oiled the gun I probably am still going to stay away from it when I carry. I’m gonna at least finish out the box at the range, and maybe periodically test it to see if I get more comfortable with it. It’s a shame because I dug 1 of the FTX bullets out of the dirt and the expansion/retention was pretty impressive. I haven’t had much luck with Hornady’s “fancy” bullets overall. I tried the LeverRevolution in my .30-30 some years ago and it was not accurate at all, I’m talking all over the place…. Thanks for Watching!!!👍😁

Thats not the real Yeet Cannon...its a C9 with Yeet Cannon printed on the side. The (finally delivered) Yeet Cannon has a milled top, better grips, most have a threaded barrel for suppressors. Fun fact...I bought a beat up POS C9 at a gun show for 60$ and to this day it is flawless. Has plastic rattlesnake grips nd is missing a site dot on the left side...and all it does is shoot.

Cheap firearms are dangerous to the operator and all bystanders. Cheap ammo is dangerous, inconsistent and each round is likely to become seated after chambering which can cause catastrophic failure resulting in injury or death. When selecting firearms and ammunition, safety should be your first priority. That being said, there are better low budget options in the handgun market but you're better off spending a little more and getting something much more reliable, durable and comfortable to carry and shoot.
