The reason I'd say MGK won is because he came at Em with facts. Everything he said was about and could be related to Em. Ems diss had a lot of reaches which gave off the vibe that he really didn't know his opponent like his opponent knew him. Eminems had to reach for reasons to diss like bringing up a manban MGK wore for a movie roll, calling him a mumble rapper which he has never been, etc. Eminems diss was a lot more aggressive and I feel like it sounded better just because of that alone.. but broken down bar for bar.. and the facts behind each bar.. I get with people saying Em, but for me, I had MGK winning that too. Lyrically Em won, of course, but for the overall effect of the song dropping and the wow factor behind it, MGK for me. Rap Devil was 100% aimed at Em, no one else. It was a full song, chorus and all, and it was making fun of him in a hilarious but truthful way. Not to mention the song was a banger!! Killshot was great too but it wasn’t completely aimed at MGK, it wasn’t an actual song and it just didn’t have that wow factor for me. When someone that isn’t supposed to win in a fight puts up a hell of a scrap and lands some massive shots but barely gets eked out in the cards I gotta go with the underdog because he left the bigger lasting impression and for me that’s what wins it. Loved it when it was happening, huge fan of both guys!! It’ll always be a topic of debate, haha!!
