This video is a collection of 2 separate removal and relocations; One of a yellow jacket nest and one of a bald faced hornet nest (Yellow Jacket technically). Then to finish off the video, I zoom in super close on some beautiful wasps for some candid macro shots of the wasps making wood pulp in their mandibles! Awesome!

Why use wood? Just throw out some colored construction paper near their nests. I bet that would work out great as well.

Some 40 years ago I milked cows in an old barn, windows wide open in the summer and cow manure all about. The manure attracted flies innumerable, and the flies attracted hornets. The hornets would zip about and capture flies, holding some as they hunted, but would occasionally stop and snack. Great animals--great videos.

@@TonyTwoTimes777 Hmmm, what an idiot! You continue with your ridiculous comments. As soon as I read, “ if I can even call you that” ( a man) I know what I am dealing with, you have a huge complex stemming from previous bullying, I would wager. If you really believe your first comment that I criticised is reasonable or normal in any way, then you have problems. Twelve, yes twelve, syrupy, squirmy complimentary words in one sentence, and followed up with a, “ hmmm, I could go on”, and then continued with how his camera work and editing is so, exquisite, deep and meaningful! That’s fifteen examples of your fawning, sycophantic nonsense in only two sentences! What is wrong with you, at the very minimum you are extremely weird. The fact that your comment was answered and praised by the poster of the video, is also saying a lot about him. I have just seen what is wrong, that music, errr, noise and those dumb games have scrambled your brain!

I am so, so glad I found your channel a couple of weeks ago. I have been telling some of my family members and friends about it. Actually, I think I am driving them nuts with my enthusiasm telling them about your Channel. However, we have been having some great conversations about why Wasps and Hornets exist and I have been able to educate them a little because of what I have learned from you. I am actually beginnning to love and appreciate these little stingers! Wasps terrify me .. or used to. I went out for lunch to an English Pub in Lancashire a week ago and they had a Wasp problem. There was a notice on the door as we walked in informing us about the Wasp invasion. This pub has amazing views of the Ribble Valley and they have a seating area outside. Desite the Wasps, being as it was such a beautiful day, which is rare in the UK, we went and sat outside. The Wasps were everywhere, just going about their business, but I was hardly phased by them. I used to run around flapping my arms screaming like a lunatic if one came near me (much like Angel did a few videos ago hahaha!), but I was actually quite calm watching them because I understand them much more now. Just to add, nobody got stung, at least for the four hours that we were there anyway, and the pub was busy that day. I have been sending my friends and family members a link to your channel so I hope they subscribe. I appreciate all your hard work bringing these amazing, amazing videos to us. Thank you!

That is seriously so cool you relocate nests. Great karma. Many people may hate them, but I don't and you made many wasps very happy.

Do you relocate them just to save them? I do find them over fascinating, but I'm allergic, and. Not comfortable around them.

This has been by far my favourite video thus far. The macro shots are incredible and hearing them chewing up the wood is also really impressive. This is amazing content Bret, thank you so much for continuing to provide us these videos of your girlfriends 😘 Are you married? What does your partner think about what you do and bringing your work home with you? lol. I apologise if that is too personal of a question but you fascinate me so much and my appreciation for you is of the upmost respect. I adore you for caring, teaching and sharing and it's funny that we have so much in common. I was a nurse and a professional singer/actress but unfortunately I can't do either anymore but it's great to live vicariously through you ha-ha. Anyway, thanks again for this superb content, I will be making a contribution to your fund. I thought I had missed the opportunity so I am very happy that you mentioned it at the end of this video, I am really happy to help someone I believe in, this really is still early days for you, your channel is going to be thriving for quite some time to come. Take care my lovely and I look forward to the next one 😘🥰 🖤💛🖤 xxx

Another awesome video. I thought maybe I would be able to see my painting in the background. Lol I can’t believe how much you can hear them chewing on the wood. That’s so crazy! Such busy critters!

4-5 days and completely covered in paper! I wish I was that productive 😁 Have you ever been asked to remove honey bees? Also, is it true that wasps kill/harm honey bees?

I like your style, Hornet King. Calm and informative. Your videos work well for me because you make the wasps the subject of the video instead of yourself. The nest structures are interesting to look at, and I appreciate your insights into the behaviour of the wasps, explaining the reasons why they do what they do. You’ve obviously got a lot of respect for the wasp, and you’ve taken time and effort to find out about them. It’s also good to understand your approach to these removal tasks, the reasons why you do things and in a particular order. I’ve learned a lot from watching and listening to you.

I LOVE this video. I never thought I would find the actions of a hornet cute, but I chuckled watching her. It dawned on me that my name means “queen bee.”I have felt like a busy queen bee for years. (Actually maybe the total 64 years!)😎🐝🐝🐝🌸🌺🌻🌻🌻
