In case you don’t know. The chorus of this song, is actually the chorus of another song made by Ryan Key (the lead singer). The song is called ‘Brighton’ and it’s incredible. It’s a slow song with some electronics involved, but it’s a really good song and he got really good praise for the song.

I wish I can explain why this song has been in repeat everyday for the last month, songs don't happen for me very often, it's probably cuz it's catharsis and it's lyrically visceral, it a song that has a sense of resolve about something that feels like it could ever have a proper ending

Oh my damn God, thank you!! I immediately recalled the chorus in some form, but was stuck on it being Yellowcard cause I've binged their discography lately, I was frantically searching for reference. . . Forgot about his stellar solo work, gotta revisit that stuff now!

@@leepearce5 I don't know why, I just was having such a hard time pinpointing how the chorus sounded so familiar, I kept thinking it was from Lift a Sail or Self-titled albums. . His solo work is pretty incredible. One of those artists I'll gladly follow anywhere when it comes to their work.

Wow. New favorite yellowcard song. Love the alternate tempo transition measures at the end of each line in the verses. Sounds hard to play clean and tight live, so when will there be a live performance?? Also great production value, it sounds great in good speakers capturing everything happening in the different frequency bands. Well done all! And the lyrics…so touching and heartbreaking. Truly a masterpiece, ryan key!
