Definitely the best song so far on this album. It's the first album of theirs that I've had to sit back and say "this is the best band ever, give it a go" though. After listening to all 3 multiple times, I'm really liking it!

Ivette Chipuli I really liked Paper Walls too. Tons of favorites off that album. Just so glad they got new music out there. And with a new sound and the fact that it's done well just proves that they can still put the best of the best out there. YC never disappoints.

Huge Yellowcard fan since I stumbled upon Ocean Avenue as a teenager, and naturally they have grown and changed. Really dig this song and the others are good. But I have to ask, where on earth is Sean Mackin on any of these songs? One of the biggest reasons why I love YC is that mix of rock with Sean's violin pieces thrown in. It really makes them stand out, and so far, I've barely heard any violin at all from any of the three tracks. Is this just a coincidence across the three released tracks or are they completely changing their approach? For me, each of the three songs released so far would be infinitely better with a greater presence for the violin, even if just as an accompaniment for the guitars!

It's there, just used in way Different ways (electric violin and also using it in percussive ways) they also said the first song on the album is A HUGE violin song, so just wait for it. Just read an interview with them, and it looks like this CD will be one of those that sounds better when you listen to it front to back

+Elliot Kim The guitar is playing a melodic rhythm in the right speaker, plain rhythm is in the left speaker and the violin is about 50% left and it's playing the same lead as the lead rhythm. From that placement you'll hear it throughout the song and at the end you'll hear the reverb decay at the very end. They have added synths as well, but they're more 'stereo'.
