THAT CHORUS THO!!! Once I heard that I'm like I LOVE IT!!! Brought the whole song full circle. Of all Yellowcard's self titled singles, ALL OF THEM are a 10/10. Ocean Avenue, Lights and Sounds, Paper Walls, Southern Air and now Lift a Sail. ALL GET A 10/10 IN MY BOOK!! They never fail when it comes to self titled singles. I never disliked any of them but that goes for all YC songs in general. But all in all GREAT JOB!!! Keep up the great work guys. Proud to say I've been with you since 2003. So much nostalgia whenever I think about that time. And I have to say it again.... THAT.CHORUS.THO.

Derek Allen Oh I did. For You and Your Denial was what got me to purchase the album. I mean that violin was so effective and then the instrumental that followed suit. PURE AWESOMENESS!! Soundtrack is also one of my favorites from that album.

This would be a great closing song or a song for any big event. Then again, every song they put out is emotional. I kinda feel like crying now that I realize I'll never be able to see them live, or experience that excitement of seeing them make a new album. Ryan Key pretty much created some of my best childhood memories. Every song links me to a moment in my past. Beautiful music!

Perfect track to sum the feelings one goes through when having feelings for someone who not only doesn't feel the same way, but also hates you just because you had the guts to make a move. Perfectly sums up the phrase, "Life goes on".

if you have never been to a yellow card concert, an intimate one like the house of blues, something personal, you can't connect enough with this album. there is just so much that went into this song, and it means a lot to many people. it can portray their struggle to finally end the music and traveling or for the hardships he and his girl had. I will definitely miss them, but they have been through so much, they deserve rest.YC will be back one day. for one final hurrah.

I bought the CD album and that's an investment I have never once regretted. Such a shame they parted ways, but sometimes not even the best of things are permanent. However, their music will never be forgotten and their legacy will live on with the last sail lifted high.
