R.F Kuang's latest hit was sharp and witty, but felt redundant and unimaginative towards the end. Come follow me! 🦄Goodreads: bit.ly/3uVTeQk 🦄Instagram: / wonkerwrites #books #booktube #booktuber #yellowface #bookreview

Love the video and the different perspective. I enjoyed it well enough, especially having a character written to be so dislikeable is something I have not seen very often, and would generally put me off. This was my first book by Kuang and the writing was good enough for me to pick up Babel. Great video as always

The thing about this book for me is that its a great idea, great writing, and smart book - but the execution felt like a bit if a dud for me. It was okay and a bit boring towards the end, did not really keep me invested ya know.

I definitely want to get into RF Kuang! I've heard mixed things about Yellowface but would love to give it a read

I still say go ahead and try to read it! It might not be for me but I can see why people love it

A satire book that talks about the dark side of the publishing world?! Sign me up for that one once my personal book buying ban has been lifted! Do you know any other books that talk about the publishing world? Genuinely curious now!

This is my first one! Unless Stephen King's On Writing counts, but that's non-fiction.

Writers and Lovers might count too! It's a romance/slice of life novel, but it's more heavy on the romance
