I can hardly wait for 1923! I like 1923 better than Yellowstone. Fabulous characters, in 1923. Love Spencer and Alexandra - best TV romance, in years. Even their villains are great, the shepherd and the miner - played by Timothy Daulton. Though, the scenes with Teonna have been heartbreaking and very hard to watch. I hope everything ‘comes right’ for Teonna, and her father, in the end.

Taylor Sheridan is a brilliant author with a creative drive that seems unlimited. His business acumen is sadly lacking however. He went way to broad too fast and is now a man that starts many things and finishes none.

Yupp!! That’s the shame of it all. With other new shows either coming out or in the works, it’s more about quantity over quality. It seems like it never fails, ego gets the best of them. TS gets put in some kind of Cowboy Hall of Fame, then buys the F 6’s (6666) Ranch, and all of a sudden he thinks that it makes him a “real” cowboy. Then in the midst of it all his shows are all paying the price. He has too many shows going on at the same time other than the Yellowstone universe. The only other show I like besides the YU is Tulsa King. But even that show is starting to erode. Especially when instead of creating new characters, all he does is change their names. Just like he did from Malcolm in YS to Thresher in Tulsa King.

For me, the best series, they are addictive. It`s so much more than a soap opera, it explains part of the development of America. I started with Yellowstone and am currently watching 1883, each episode lets you delve deep into the contemporary everyday life of a cattle rancher/cowboy.

I barely got through 1883, I got really into 1923 but it’s been a year & a half between the last season & waiting for the new season that I forgot about the plot, & gave up even caring about it all. I actually never catch on to a good or great show until AFTER it's been on for several seasons. Same with Yellowstone. But now that I'm on board, I intend to get ahold of "1883", "1923", continue beginning with tonight's season five episodes left then go right into "1944" as soon as it comes out. I have a real love for the time travel aspect and cannot wait to go ALLLL the way back to the beginning before too many prequels and things come out and I lose my place!

I think the creator "Taylor" got way 2 big for his britches .... He owes his success to Kevin Costner. His contract stated he was supposed to to have say in the direction of his, character & the show as an Executive Producer!!! So shame on Taylor Sheridan .... he was responsible for putting the show on hold with all of his other damn spin off- His original show Yellowstone was put on the back burner- He made Coster out to be the bad guy-

Bigger names like Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Jackman could be awesome pieces somewhere along a new storyline. Maybe some of the Hatfields and McCoys cast that worked with Costner Like a Matt Barr or Andrew Howard would be nice additions that have played similar type roles before. Jeremy Renner has worked with Sheridan before, he could be good too.

Near the part of Montana where the Yellowstone is, there's a town called Three Forks. This is where three rivers come together to form the Missouri River. Those rivers are the Jefferson, the Gallatin, and the Madison. That's my guess for the name.
