I completely ignored the media hype on Yellowstone. They don't a very good track record after all. I started the series with 1883 without knowing it was a spin-off of Yellowstone. That was all it took. I was addicted. I do wish they would release the 2nd season 1923 before 1944...

My wish list! Yellowstone Season 5 just get it done already sheesh 1923 Season 2. Show us how Spencer returns home and takes Banner and Co to the train station. Show Alex meet him there and erase the Dutton's debt with her royalty ties and riches. Show us how this sets up the Yellowstone manages to become a well to do ranch before we see it in Season 1. 1944 I think works better with Matthew Cougnahay as an older Spencer Dutton. 2024 with Kurt Russel would be awesome.

I like the original Yellowstone, but 1883 was fantastic, wish it would have more episodes, and 1923, was great but left hanging with episodes being fragmented & delays cause disinterest.

I’d like to see another one with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. I know their characters are dead but I can start off with them planting a stone grave marker at their daughters gravesite, then showing how they are building their Homestead. There’s trials and tribulations they face up to the moment he dies and then they focus on her and the children Letting her be a bad ass until she dies. Before she dies she obviously writes the letter to his brother so the last episode could be 99% the two kids trying to struggle and survive ending with them almost starving to death and their uncle and aunt showing up. I think it Be awesome.

I don't know about other fans but I hoped for some more 1883 .It was so good we are starved of quality stories from the old west. Which is why Lawman Bass Reeves will do so well. There is a way to re-erect Elsa I think we all wanted to see her life with Sam maybe do a story from the Indian perspective on how they lived dealing with immigrants mixed marriages etc.

Taylor Sheridan has spit on all us fans who have loved, followed, built up and supported Yellowstone. The fans deserve better than having our chains jerked around by waiting "till the cows come home" for Season 5, Part 2. I dont give a flying fig about any Taylor Sheridan shows prequels, sequels, any ...als after what the egos and suits did by blowing up the ending of Yellowstone and letting it die while Sheridan is busy pumping out other shows right and left. Many of us fans cared deeply about the characters of Rip, Beth, John, Kayce.... only to be teased over and over again that Yellowstone is coming back (oh, its the writers strike, oh its the egos Sheridan and Costner fighting, oh its this reason or that reason but wait for latest jerk me alert... Season 5, Part 2 is coming FOR SURE in 2024!...cue my rolling eyes) I beseech all the faithful, diehard Yellowstone fans, esp Rip and Beth fans to boycott any Taylor Sheridan and also Paramount shows from now on. I am going to rewind my mind to the day Beth and Rip got married and call it Great and Goodbye and thank u to Cole and Kelly for such great acting. I will miss and mourn your characters the most. Can u imagine waiting around till 2024 and watching how the characters will be destroyed? Cause u know after all the turmoil behind the scenes that Sheridan is not going to give us any happy ending....no Beth and Rip riding off in the sunset together....no happy ending for John who fought so hard for the ranch. Count me out waiting around for misery happening in Part 2. Sheridan has more money than he can count now and new toys and shows to play with. He doesnt need the faithful Yellowstone fans to stick around. Thank u to the spectacular cast, esp Cole and Kelly my faves. Goodbye Yellowstone.

Ya! I think Sheridan has a big ego, now that he has all that money & fame! Originally, I thought Costner was the problem, but after I heard Sheridan was suing Cole Hauser (Rip), I knew that Taylor Sheridan is the problem! I’m sure he has the attitude, “It’s my way or the highway!” I watched an interview with him that was done when Yellowstone first started & he still seemed humble. Then, I watched an interview with him, a couple or a few years later & he seemed really cocky! Just the look on his face, seemed like he had an attitude. If you ever watched him in SOA, you can see his attitude, on that show! It wasn’t just an act!

Just Chuck it already… Bother & sister join forces against Dad, they have plenty of outtakes on the editing floor to periodically put John in, source the story around the siblings conniving & planning just to have Dad die in a plane crash…. last scene bother & sister at the grave, last shot show them walking off in different directions. End of that! Shelton sure know how to screw up a good thing. It’s like he can’t keep a train of thought. Now great writing is Gilded Cage. A great writer always knows the ending before he starts. His brain is like spaghetti… no start, no ending. You know what they say… Throw it against the wall & see what sticks! Just MHO…

I like all these shows but the prequels start then they stop with no mention of when they will come back & finish, if they come back at all. If they come back, there’s been so much time in between the last episode & the new episode, that I don’t remember what happened or I’ve just lost interest. The different shows are so jumbled together, you can’t figure out who’s who. I just gave up & stopped watching all together.

Yes for the 2nd season of 1923 and 1944. Here's the niggling problem: 1923 is homeless in Montana now. Civic center is not available and the production office is closed a local actor tells me. Rumors have it that all interior filming with be done in Texas with only backdrops in Montana sans actors. If true this will ruin the shows. Nothing is more inauthentic than a fake Montana when the real thing is sitting here abandoned. All we have so far is a quote from a producer in Hamilton, Montana that 1944 will be filmed there. Actors here wait for it. Let's hope this is where they come back to. There's only one Yellowstone Dutton Ranch and it's here, not Texas.

I don't understand what role Kurt Russell plays in 1944, is he supposed to be an aged Spencer Dutton? In my opinion, Kurt Russell is too old to play an older Jack Dutton, because Jack should be in his late 30s or early 40s at best in 1944. For the role of Spencer Dutton, however, Kurt Russell should be the right age in 1944.
