George is one of my most respected person's in this life. George's Religon and Spirituality is extremely powerful, His outlook on a day in this life is so sureal. If anyone gets a chance to read His Autobiography "I Me Mine", do so, George was a phenominal writer, and His quotes will make you think twice before doing anything. Now, His guitar playing, FFFFFFUUUCK!!!...The Man was a Genius when He played. Go check out "Mike Pachelli" here on youtube, Mike teaches Guitar with alot of admiration for The Beatles ,Mike Pachelli )produces charts and tabs that go's along with his chord progressions and licks, and carefully disects each member of The Beatles and their parts when playing a song, George always put in a little extra pizaz in His playing, signature sounds that are hard to identify for the untrained ear, and sometimes difficult to play. Alot of the early Beatles songs sounded bubble gumish,but quite the Contrary,George had a "Thin but Complex" sound. Great video 👍 Thanks for keeping George Harrison and The Beatles in our hearts!!!🙏✌

Here's a fact that most people, even those who were adolescents in the '60s probably don't know. He was/is one of the greatest guitarists and songwriter/singers of all time. Flashy? No. Shred? No. Fabulous soaring bluesy solos? No. Nothing like that at all. So why was/is he so great? Because he took what he had heard before him and used it in the most beautiful, exciting, creative and imaginative, musical way that framed and sparkled every song on which he played. He taught, by his example, tens of thousands of guitarists that taste when playing, and sometimes not playing, only in service to the song was what the band lead guitar thing is all about. That's why.

Only A Northern Song is one of my favorite Beatles tracks. I never thought it was a critique of John and Paul. Just a jab at the people that constantly analyzed their music. George's songs were also Northern Songs in the early days and up to this point. I think it would've made Sgt Pepper's even stronger. It was nice having at least too Harrison songs on Beatle albums, but SPLHCB was too Paul heavy. Another George song would've made it much tastier.

Maybe *most* of George's teachers let him get away with his Teddy Boy appearance and disinterest in school, but one gave him a whack on his wrist with the cane because of his clothes. When George got home, his father asked about it, and George replied, "Teacher." The next day there came a knock on the classroom door. The teacher answered. Someone inquired if he was the teacher. "Yes," came the answer. There came the sound of a mighty blow as George's father sent the teacher a punch in the nose. "George was the hero of the school for a week," Paul reports. "If it'd been my father, he'd have just said, 'Well, I suppose you deserved it, then,' and kept reading his paper." George was the funniest in interviews. When Brian Epstein had his first interview with the Beatles, Paul was very late. Brian was furious and demanded to know where he was. George, ever loyal, called up and was able to report, "He's having a bath." This did not mollify Brian, who grouched about whether Paul thought it worthwhile to waste his (Brian's) time. George paused and said, "He's *very clean* ." Of course all Beatles fans recognize that line...which classically appeared later in HDN as the touchstone line about Paul's grandfather. When JPG&R were auditioning for George Martin on substandard equipment (John's amp was tied together with string but still rattled), he gave them a tongue-lashing for a half-hour about shoddy equipment and presentation. Afterwards, there was a long silence from the band. "Well? Don't you have anything to say?" Martin demanded. "I don't like your tie," said George (H), at which point the ice was broken. George was never at a loss for words in an interaction with the press, whether serious or not. He held his own and, on at least one occasion I've seen, kept John in the conversational corner. So...yes, he had an illness which required him not to speak very much on his first American trip. However, he was both wise and clever

There is a lost story about George and Eric don't know if its true or not if someone and confirm this one let me know. When Eric was going through his TEARS IN HEAVEN stage and was very depressed. His wife asked George to come over and try and cheer him up. When George came over and saw the state Eric was in he could tell was lost and talking to him did not help any. So George talked to the wife and got along real well, so well that they spent a romantic weekend together. And George would say later that is how he got back at Eric for stealing Patti Boyd on him

Poorly researched. “John was on vacation and could not attend” is incorrect. That is not his sister Louise. It’s Patti. Vision of a tribute band in discussing The Beatles? Lazy. Incorrect date of death? Unforgiveable.
@guillermo35642 жыл бұрын
@darrenjray remember, research is a lost art. It's far easier to write or say whatever you want, and with repetition by those who aren't capable of critical thinking, have it become fact by default. This guy needs to be called out on every mistake so that he can pull his head out of his a$$ and maybe get something right. It would also be nice to see his misinformation taken down. He's just jumping on the Get Back bandwagon of new Beatles "experts" just to try to make a buck on KZbin. Pretty pathetic, I think.

George Harrison wasn't the youngest member of the Fantastic Four. The Fab Four, yes, but he wasn't a member of the Marvel comic book family. That wasn't The Beatles on stage with 'George' playing the Sitar. The Beatles never used the sitar on stage. That was a Tribute band that they showed in this video. George may have made the word 'grotty' popular, but it was a scripted word that was given to him for the movie. He even said that he cringed every time he had to use it.

@@beatleman69 To say he was "looking in the wrong place" for God is incredibly disrespectful, as is your assumption that he never read the bible. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.” Jesus allegedly said those words.

George's spiritual life was based in a religion that had been around for 2,000 years before the story of christ was ever made up. I think that when his time came, your jesus was probably the last thing on his mind. You christians just can't handle the fact that there are other ways to spiritual growth that have nothing to do with your book or deities, and that's the main issue with all of you. Keep your beliefs to, and get over, yourself.
