Amazing review..one of the best..i booked 10 nights in this hotel 2 years ago,and wasn't sure if i would like it or not..i then cancelled and went to Paris,Nice,and Milan instead..i will be visiting Zurich soon,but i will stay in the Savoy.. Thank you for sharing.. Cheers from Yemen

Great review! I hear you regarding some of the air conditioners in hotel rooms. I remember the hotel I stayed at in Zagreb, Croatia was on the warm side even with the thermostat set to something around 18 degrees. It made a little uncomfortable, but it wasn't too bad.

+Scottman895 Travel Thanks! That just seems to be a general issue in Europe for me. They are used to a warmer "room temperature" than Americans are. Always extra rough if I have to go to Europe for business meetings and wear a suit. Oof!

If you are on a tight budget, I suggest to buy sandwiches and beverages in grocery stores as they completeley exagerate in Zurich in those train station stores for example :D

Been awhile since I stayed there so unfortunately I dont recall whether they open.. typically if they do open I point it our specifically... so if I didnt mention that they open then its highly likely that they dont open
